Fine Fabric Wash 16.9 Oz: Grapefruit

I love this product. Brand is great quality and this scent is yummy to me. Sometimes I will do half of this with half lavender to change it up. Works well to clean delicates and wool without damage.

I used the whole bottle before I got over here to write a review, but this stuff is a godsend. It completely refurbished my past seasons merino clothing for use this year which saved me a lot of money. I wish it were more affordable to use as an everyday detergent, but even using it a couple times a year is better than never. I love the fact that it’s no rinse. I use a bar of laundry soap on my socks (because they get really dirty and it works) and then follow up with a dab of this and just leave is on them for a while. I rinse but I don’t worry about getting it all out, just hang to dry they are as good as new. Backpackers best friend.

I use this for washing my hand spun yarn. I like that it cleans the fiber but doesn’t need to be rinsed. I was pleasantly surprised to see the grapefruit scent!

This was my 1st purchase of a fiber specific cleaning product. I'm happy with the results but have minimal experience, having washed only 1 vintage wool Pendelton throw. It did produce some bubbles, nothing overwhelming, and there was definitely removal of dirt. The grapefruit smell is nice, not overly strong. I did like not having to rinse anything out and it seemed to add a touch of softness to the throw. I will be using this for more of my woolens.

This is a no-rinse, gently scented product that cleans well and leaves no overwhelming scent. It was shipped in a padded plastic envelope, and the product itself was enclosed in a protective plastic bag, to guard against leakage, I guess. The bottle cap did allow leakage into the plastic bag, so I lost a small amount of liquid and had to rinse and wipe off the sticky bottle after. But the loss wasn't great, the clean-up took only about a minute so I was not greatly inconvenienced. Plus, the price was so good while the home delivery was convenient, that really, I am satisfied with this product and would order again, even if it leaks a little and I have to wipe the bottle off. However, I think the manufacturer should consider sealing the bottle top and also still putting in a protective plastic bag. This would avoid mess for the consumer, and mitigates the possibility that a great deal of product could leak out, requiring a dissatisfied customer to request a return for credit. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

Bought this fabric wash to clean my silk pillowcases and silk shirts because the Woolite wasn't rinsing clean and the Dryel scent was too strong. Handwashing with this product cleaned quickly and rinsed well, leaving my items (which I air dry in the shade) feeling soft & supple. The grapefruit scent is faintly detectable during the handwashing process - you cannot smell it after drying. My silk items weren't visibly stained or dirty to begin with, but I feel that this product does effectively dissolves transferred body oils to get the items clean. Using Woolite in the the same wash & dry process, items often dried a little stiff and smelling of Woolite, indicating residual product. I'll be using this product from now on, though it might be a while since a little goes such a long way!

Works great, smells great, amazingly gentle but still effective. All the cashmere looks.and feels like new, and it did a great job on a filthy old sheepskin bomber jacket (that one did take 2 washings, weighed about 40 pounds, and took a week to dry. But it looks , feels , and smells great). I've done 6 sweaters and the aforementioned sheepskin - which I had to fill a bathtub for) and still have over half the bottle left. Good, good stuff.

Used this on two different silk pillow cases and it did an amazing job. Highly recommended, Did not damage the silk at all.
