Two 9V batteries are required. It is recommended to use alkaline batteries that will last longer life.

How to avoid keeping beeping because of interference？

1.In the area of highly mineralized ground, the detector will sound even if there is no metal. In this case, you can lower the sensitivity or Setting with DISC. Meantime enhance the distance between the search coil and the ground. 2.Metallic digging tools will also affect the detection if they are near the search coil. So it’s better to place them a little far away.

I just received my detector. It came used and already assembled. The user book has kids scribble on it. It did not come with the headphones or shovel.
