Weeks ---- Okay, I am a fellow customer and I own this set. Just from looking at it, it "appears" that you could unscrew the fastener that holds the hex keys in place, slide the fastener out, and have a bunch of loose hex keys. I am not going to disassemble it to see if it really works because it might not be easy to reassemble. Just a few thoughts..... 1. Just off the top of my head, I wouldn't recommend what you are suggesting because you will only be able to put a tiny amount of torque on the fastener with just the metal part. 2. You might be better off buying an allen wrench socket; then put a long extension on the socket wrench handle, and you might be able to get in a tight space, and still be able to torque it. 3. You might be better off buying an allen wrench with a longer arm. 4. I suppose if disassembling this set is your best option, then if it doesn't come apart, you can probably break or cut the plastic to get the handle off the metal keys. Hope that helps.
