MY PHOTO DOESN'T DO THE PICTURE QUALITY JUSTICE
i have been in the market for a new inexpensive DVD player when I came across this one. It had a lot of the qualities I was looking for. 1. It's small and compact doesn't take up much room at all. It's slightly larger than my hand and very lightweight. 2. Must be easy to hook up. This one is very easy to hook up. Choose which cords you want to use (included) and plug and play. 3. Must have a remote (which it does). It took me about 2 minutes to setup. I tried my CD and the sound is really nice so glad because my CD player broke on me so now I can play my CD's once again. Next I tried a DVD and the picture and the sound are really good. My only complaint is that the remote is not the best. It lags a bit and you must be kind of close to use it or at least in my home. But overall for the price this is a nice little machine. No frills easy to hook up and use machine. As you can see to the left of the TV picture is the DVD player it is small/ compact and fits on my little stand. It was also very well packaged to keep it safe during shipping. Overall the price is good and the quality of the picture and sound is very good. You can't go wrong with this purchase. I am very happy with my purchase.

Full Featured HD Mini DVD Player Handles Many Formats
I have an older DVD player which doesn't get a lot of use. It does not even have HDMI output, it has the RCA Audio, Video outs. I keep it to play my older family videos which are on VCDs. My newer Blu-ray is 3D and HD but cannot play VCDs. I needed something that could play VCDs and output HDMI. This Mini HD DVD Player has got it all. It is HD, has both RCA and HDMI outputs and comes in a sleek, small footprint. It includes all needed cables and a easy to use remote, (batteries not included). This player can handle numberous formats and is region free. The following is the list of formats: region 1/2/3/4/5/6 DVDs (except for CPRM), and supports the playback of CD, DVD, DVD-R/+R, DVD-/+RW, CD-R/-RW, VCD, SVCD. It is powered via a standard USB-C cable, (power block included). As tested, it handled regular DVDs with no issue and specifically tested, it handled my home burned DVD-R and DVD+R as well as my VCDs perfectly. Both the picture and sound quality were fine. I was able to play my VCDs with it connected to a video capture device via HDMI and have finally been able to convert the VCDs to MP4s. (While the video was fine, the pictures taken with my phone of the screen aren't very sharp). Overall, this is an excellent player capable of handling every format I need it to with features that rival much more expensive units. I highly recommend it as it suits my needs to a "T".

Pretty good.
Works pretty good. Remote has an annoying lag, but I’m getting used to it. Manual not great, but ok. No digital display on unit but on screen display ok for seeing how long you’ve been watching and how long left, once you figure out how to use it yourself — it has six different displays before turning off display. Captions are really hard to master as well. Manual is pretty useless. Once you play with it for a bit, it is ok. It does resume where you left off. Rewind is ok, but sometimes hard to stop and get playing again. So, adequate for us because we don’t watch a lot of dvds and the price was great. Small size is very nice. We use with a wireless hdmi so our fireplace mantle remains uncluttered and wire free.

Review: Ceihoit Mini HD DVD Player
Review: Ceihoit Mini HD DVD Player I recently purchased the Ceihoit Mini HD DVD Player, and I must say, I'm quite impressed with its performance. Setting up this DVD player was a breeze; it's a simple plug-and-play device. Everything I needed, including all the required cords, was included in the package. However, one minor downside was the absence of batteries for the remote control. Nevertheless, the remote itself is nicely designed and straightforward to use. It worked seamlessly for turning the player on/off, opening and closing the tray, and fast forwarding through scenes. In terms of picture quality, I found it to be on par with any other DVD player I've used in the past. The visuals were clear and crisp, enhancing my viewing experience. What I particularly appreciate about the Ceihoit Mini HD DVD Player is its compact size and affordability. With DVDs gradually becoming less prevalent in today's digital age, having a smaller and more budget-friendly option like this is a definite plus. It's convenient for those who still enjoy watching their DVD collection without investing in a larger, more expensive player. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase of the Ceihoit Mini HD DVD Player. It's a user-friendly device that delivers solid performance at an affordable price point. If you're in the market for a straightforward DVD player that gets the job done without breaking the bank, this is definitely worth considering.

Easy to use, excellent customer support
Really easy to set up and use for DVDs and CDs. Super compact size, easily fits on small shelf. The remote control is convenient, sometimes a little particular and must be pointed directly at the player. Playback is excellent, and when I had an issue, customer service from Ceihoit was above and beyond expectations with fast and positive responses. Highly recommend for an affordable and easy way to watch DVDs.

easy to use, no frills, good quality DVD player
I purchased this item when it was on sale, it is as advertised, for under 30 dollars, you get a no frills, light weight, easy to use DVD player. So it depends on what you want to use it for. For me I am using it wired up to a monitor where I can play old workout DVDs, but I can also see it as a setup in a kid's room where you only allow for kid appropriate collection of movies, or in a setting where WIFI is unreliable and you just need to set up a video off an existing DVD. The picture quality is good, set up was easy, I didn't even have to read the instruction manual was ready from opening the box to playing a DVD in under 5 minutes. Over all recommend if this is all you need, a small form factor DVD player that is easy to use for a good price.

main menu is a QR. code
bought as gift, recipient seems happy with it. it works and its nice and compact. very uncool though that the menu when its on and not playing a disk is a QR code for something. very tacky.

OG Joy 🏆
Wanna cover one ⭐️ review chatter up front with solutions to the issues. If you’re buying this you most likely lived through the era of VHS, CD’s and DVD’s. You still own some or maybe picked up a favorite movie or two at a garage sale, etc. And wanna revisit the vintage tech. Whatever the reason, I’m here with you for a similar reason. If so, and short on memory of what that experience was like. Have forgotten how that viewing time vibed. Consider, we are so use to digital technicolor we forget back in the day things were 720 pixel television. Then 1080. Then HD. Then UHD. To 4K. And so on. ***special message break *** If you do not keep rechargeable AAA batteries or any on hand you will wanna order some. None are included. *** back to the review *** If you’re as elder as me, turning 60 this year with the heart of a child for gadgets, might have grown up with a black and white tv. Until 2015 owned a 12 in B&W for the sheer enjoyment of the contrast. Only donated it due to relocation and minimizing. This all said, to the people complaining about the visual or sound … tips, on regular television stations, like I’ve got a Fire TV with antenna so I get a lot of free channels plus have digital apps. If this picture pleases you try watching an OG movie or television show like MASH. You’ll see what the quality is. Then, switch to the DVD on the player. It’ll be about the same. Equipment was different filming throughout history. My advice, suck it up or stick to digital tv. It’s not the tv or the dvd player. It’s many OG reasons for the picture to look as it does. Perfectly normal for that movie. As for sound, some people complained. Tip, turn the volume all the way up with the tv remote. Then, use the DVD remote to adjust the sound. Mine is very loud. A guess is the one star complaint may not have adjusted their tv remote for sound first. For those who gave a low review due to the device crapping put my question to you, did you register it for the warranty? A one year warranty is offered for the unit and accessories. If this isn’t enough, Ascurion offers a two year warranty at 5.99. Considering the discount for the device as a Prime member offered to begin with the warranty seemed a great idea and cost less if applying the saved few dollars. Ascurion will ask to contact them first. Then they’ll either give a gift card for replacement or you’ll get a repair. I’m guessing it is smarter to send a gift card. Buy a new one. Because the first DVD player from a different company didn’t fair well decided the warranty for this gadget, on top of the one I did not know was included, is a win. I’m able to watch my vintage DVD’s and maybe pick some up at garage sales or a second hand shop for a dollar. Not sure if you do this, but here’s an idea for free movies … buy digital videos using Amazon digital dollars they give for accepting later deliveries than two day shipping. You can check in your account how much is there. All you have to do is push buy or rent and it’ll auto deduct from the amount. Me, wait for sales and buy stuff that’s either owned by an app company I can’t watch for free or it’s rare and only available to watch if I own it. Otherwise I do not buy digital movies. Free is always nice. So, free digital. And rewatch DVD’s plus so many free channels on Fire TV and apps. The concept you’ll own nothing and be happy creeps me out a little. Is a big why for owning a DVD player again. Sharing this for ideas since you’re shopping the OG section of Amazon 😁 Another place with free movies in YouTube. If you click on the movie you can save it to a YouTube folder. I do this with lots of OG Christmas shows from when I was small. And you can save a free movie with ads that’s otherwise a rental. Just click the movie and let it start playing if you wanna add it to a folder. This device is compact and fits under the TV so it can be easy to control with the remote. The weight is super light. For functionality, notice the remote is not fast. It’s OG. I had to push and wait a second or push again to get it to act. As for durability, we shall see. Upon set up and trial it works very well. I went through all the settings. Like changed to auto and such. Turned the tv all the way up then fiddled with the DVD volume and it’s as loud as the tv no problem. If the tv is set low the device will only be able to go max to the highest tv volume set. Which for more people is 25 to 35. The first thing you’ll see when plugging it in is to register the device. There’s also a flyer included with similar directions. The guide is easy to read. Lots of attention was put into making it easy to understand. On a side note, with tariffs being in the mix thought the warranty a good idea, too, just in case something happens. Who knows how much little luxuries like this will cost until all that’s worked out. I’m happy with the purchase. Recommend, based on what I have experienced, this DVD player. It comes with several connection options, too. FireTV can handle both types of inputs so I’m set either way I choice. I’m OG so the three prong yellow red white connection makes me all giddy imma have a truly 80’s experience 😁 Happy DVDing. Hope this review solves issues and promotes fun for family and friends. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

Compact, affordable, effective
Since most new laptops don't have DVD players anymore, and I wanted to play some old DVDs, I needed a small and simple DVD player for just that purpose. This one suits my needs perfectly! The device came packaged safely. Included are: - DVD player - Remote control - AV cable + HDMI cable - User manual The device is super compact and very light but it feels quite solid, also the drawer. Installation couldn't be more simple. Plug in the electricity and HDMI cable, put in a DVD and enjoy. In my case, I connect it to a computer monitor. Since it's a 4k monitor and DVDs have much lower resolution, I had to upscale the image with the settings of the computer screen. I believe that on a TV, the image should automatically fill the screen. The device and remote control offer plenty of functionality. In the attached recording I scrolled through the menu to see what's in there. I haven't tried everything out but it all seems intuitive and works as expected so far. As you may notice in the recording, at some point there is an "invalid key" message on the screen. I'm not sure which button I pressed on the remote, but apparently it was for something that my particular DVD didn't support. One tiny little downside about the remote, you need to aim it at the player quite precisely, otherwise the signal doesn't get caught. At first I thought that the remote didn't work well, but it's fine when you aim it properly at the device. Image quality is good, just as much as the (partially old) DVDs provide. For audio, I connected to a separate speaker via the AV cable. However, I removed audio from this recording because there was a bunch of private talking included :-) Either way, audio is also good, depends mostly on the speakers that get connected. The menu, as you can see in the recording, looks a bit "basic". Nothing fancy, but it's intuitive and it works, so no complaints there. The "resume" functionality is quite practical. When you switch back to the main menu and go back to the movie, you don't have to start from the beginning. All in all, it's good value for money. Compact, affordable and effective. I personally don't expect anything more from a DVD player to simply play some movies.

Great, compact and light
I was impressed with this compact little DVD player, its small and super light so it would be great to pack away in a bag if travelling somewhere with a few DVD if you’re stayigg by somewhere with a TV but patchy or not great WiFi for streaming. We have consoles and a blue ray player at home but find it handy to have a little dvd player we can pull out if and when needed, when not in use it can just be tucked away in a drawer. This would also be good for use in the garden with a projector because it’s light and not bulky so won’t get in the way. The projector comes with everything you’ll need in the box already, including an AV cable, a HDMI cable (saving you from having to either buy one or dig one out!) , a power cord and a compact remote. It’s really easy to set up as it’s just a case of plugging it in, popping in a DVD and it’s ready to go! It does have other external inputs available such as USB so you could use it to play photo slideshows or movies stored to a memory stick - handy if you’re showing them to an older relative with a slightly older tv. The dvd player performs well, as can be seen in the video and photo attached, it’s also quiet when running. Overall it’s easy to use, compact and great value for money.
