A must have
I purchased this edition for my boyfriend who loves the G.O.T show and the A.S.O.I&F books. This is, in my opinion, the best version of the books, and I have the leather bound set which is also nice. I liked it so much I bought another one for myself. I just hope they continue this edition for books 4 & 5🤞

The book is great, the illustrations, not so much.
This review applies only to the 'A Storm of Swords Illustrated Edition', published by Bantam in 2020. As I indicate above, the text of this book doesn't need my approbation, we all know how good it is; the illustrations on the other hand, while well executed, are jarringly out of place in the eyes of someone who is a fan of the HBO series. They depict scenes typical of medieval England, with men wearing tights, pointy shoes, and caps with feathers in them. They are more appropriate to the pages of a book about Robin Hood and his Band of Merry Men. In my opinion, the artist should have tried to either emulate the style of art in the first two volumes of this illustrated series, or the design language of the HBO series.

Don’t let the reviews fool you
Not as great as A Game of Thrones, but just as nice as A Clash of Kings. Great book!

Favorite book of all time in a beautifully illustrated edition.

Good but flaws, and reckless
The inner content and pages is still very well, but the cover is quite dusty, age and a little damaged. Still not bad but please preserve more of product condition.

Great collectible
Arrived in great condition. Couldn't be happier. Illustrations are not like AGOT and ACOK but still great artwork. Hoping to get my hands on AFFC and ADWD soon.
