Best Digital PC Scope
The software makes this worth the price. If you have any clue how to use a standard scope and run a PC this will freak you out. Very intuitive, you can just "figure it out" once it is running. I used it to test PLC response and for finding inductance in homemade coils. The output on the signal generator I found very useful although the 600 ohm impedance seemed odd it still worked well for my needs and everything checks out good when you cross check the math. I even had to use the serial read function which was simply outstanding in automatically knowing I2C from RS232. Highly recommend if you get a PC scope and that you understand the software is everything!!! So glad I picked this scope.

Fantastic Product, Fantasic Company, Fantastic Capability. Love this thing!!!
I Seen South Main Auto on youtube use one of these so I bought one that is more of a starter scope and not specifically for automotive but still does 90% of the stuff i need it for while diagnosing automotive electrical issues. The software is free(even if you dont have a picoscope!) And easy to use. Love this this thing, hope to get the automotive version someday. Will absolutely buy Picoscope products again.

Impressive
Very impressive scope. Paired with a windows 10 laptop, some longer leads and an attenuator you can test anything you want on a car. Very accurate and with free software it’s pretty awesome.

Great little scope
Love all the features in this compact unit. Unit comes with a five year warranty, but has to be sent to U.K. for service. Love software, but has so many features and options it may take you sometime to become familiar with them.

The Picoscope worked great on my HP laptop and I was very happy ...
Pico 2205A PicoScope 2 channel + AWG, 25MHz, Includes probesNeeded a scope I could take on a maintenance trip but did not want to lug a traditional O'Scope. The Picoscope worked great on my HP laptop and I was very happy with it. Have used it a couple of times in the office and at home looking at waveforms and it works very well. Easy to use, lots of features and small. Easily made it through airport security in my laptop bag. Plugs right into USB port and works like a champ. Now I just keep it in my bag so it is always available.

Good for most hobby projects.
The display is good and allows for capturing a waveform and enlarging display and scroll left/right.Can capture several seconds of waveform and allow inspection at higher resolution.

Need a pc to use. Very easy to setup. Great online instruction and lots of videos
The scope has to leads for measuring two different signals. It has a signal generator that you can use to test the other two leads. The scope will generate sine waves, square waves, and others at different frequencies and amplitudes. You can record and save the waveforms the device sees. I look forward to creating my personal library of good or baseline waveforms to use in future comparisons. I always wanted a waveform for my diesel injectors but the company that built them cannot provide them. Now I can record my own and compare all 8 injectors to look for anomalies and detect issues in the future.

Works for Automotive use but does NOT work with the picoScope 7 automotive software
I'm a DIY mechanic. Work on my own famiily cars only. I did not want to spend the $2k for a full pico Automotive scope for this reason. I got this and it works with the standard picoScope 7 software, and I just have the picoScope AUTOMOTIVE version installed on same laptop and if I need some tips on probe setup I'll open the Automotive version in demo mode and use that for help, then do the actual measurements in the normal picoScope version. This works for my needs. Would I love a full 4 channel scope .. you bet!! but this works well.
