This Russell Hobbs microwave has completely elevated my kitchen aesthetic. The Scandi black finish with wood-effect handle looks far more premium than its price suggests. Setup was effortless — the digital display is intuitive, and the 8 auto-cook menus genuinely take the guesswork out of everyday meals. The defrost function is impressively accurate, and the interior wipes down in seconds. At 700w, it heats evenly without nuking everything into oblivion. My only minor gripe? The dial clicks are a touch loud. But honestly, a small price for such a gorgeous, functional microwave. Highly recommend!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I was surprised to see the terrible light inside the microwave considering how well Russel Hobbs looked after the rest of the aesthetics. Overall an attractive microwave, and decent quality for the price. Mine arrived with a superficial defect - rubber poking out from the glass on the front of the microwave. Additionally, when opening the microwave, you can feel a seam where the faux wood film must join on the back of the handle. Despite these small imperfections I decided to keep the microwave to prevent the whole return and new order debacle. and I was able to remove the issue on the edge of the glass. A mention regarding functionality, I was really pleased that like on my old microwave, you are able to simply press 'start' to begin cooking, it sets the timer to 1 minute, and you can rotate the knob to adjust the time up or down.

Product useless as timer has a mind of its own. I had thought that Russell Hobbs was a reliable brand. I now know otherwise.

Works really well and the dial is easy to use, you're not spinning it for ages to add more time because after it reaches 10+ minutes it will only go up in whole minutes so it's easier. There is a tiny red light indicator for the current mode, which is handy except for when it's empty and shows a bright red clock symbol next to the time. I cut a tiny disc of black electrical tape and covered the clock symbol up and it looks much better. It only has a 24 hour clock. The only thing I miss from my previous microwave was a timer, this doesn't have one. It's quite small too, will only fit a big dinner plate if it goes in a bit sideways first, so make sure you measure before buying.

It’s very disappointing, the microwave is defected, it doesn’t heat. And the only way to return it is if we ship it back ourselves. Very inconvenient

Excellent microwave however the plug was for a UK power socket and I am in Australia.
