IittalaEssence 7-Ounce Champagne Glass, Set of 2

I'm very keen on this design. The execution is very nice (mfd in Germany) The glass is very thin, so they can be pretty delicate (I broke one of the white wines by tipping it over) but it IS glass, after all. You want rough and tumble, stick with the Duralex. But these are sturdy enough if you're mindful (I've broken other goblets by drying them too vigorously!) And did I mention they're gorgeous? Shaped perfectly to give you a good whiff of the red wine.

I purchased to complete a set. While I still like the style of the glasses, the quality just not the same. The seems are visible and the glasses just feel a little clumsier. If/when these current ones break, I wouldn’t replace them.

I've never found a wine glass I loved as much as this. Absolutely exquisite. Great hand-feel and such an elegant size. These wash beautifully in the dishwasher, which is an added bonus.

I love anything Iittala, so will use and enjoy these glasses. However, the base is quite large - larger than I expected and on a champagne flute that look does not appeal to me. On the plus side they are very sturdy!

This is my favorite wine glass - red or white wine - just stunning. Bought a set of four for my husband (and I get to use them too!) and bought a set for my girlfriend. She really liked them too. Highly recommend!

My husband was skeptical about the "flat" bottom of the bowl, but it's not actually flat. I wanted something just a little different from the standard glasses, which I was getting bored with. These have a sizeable bowl, and are of very nice quality.

gorgeous, quality wind glass. Great size and nice to drink out of. They do not seem overly fragile, but look nice and contemporary.
