The socks are thick and warm, soft and quality feeling.

These are medium weight and up to your calf socks. I wear them with work boots and cowboy boots. They stay up well too and because I have Muscular Dystrophy my calf are very thin and they work really well for me.

They fit very comfortably, especially around my calves. I typically have a harder time finding longer OCP socks that fit my calves without sacrificing my comfort especially when driving. They are thicker so it’s perfect for the colder weather right now. Haven’t tested them in summer heat. My only reason for not 5 full stars is that they started to get all fuzzy after the second wash. They’re still holding up, just looks weird lol. Still wearing them!

OK so I wrote a review on these socks, Jeffries socks it was critical about a piece of the packaging, the little nylon piece that was in so tight it snagged the socks getting it out. I like my stuff perfect and it was just frustrating. My revision here is that his socks are amazing. I mean my favorites, not too thick not too thin and they stay up. I’m going to buy more help that I can get that little nylon piece out without snagging the socks again. :-)

They run small. Got the women's size 6-8. I wear an 8. They're snug. They're nice and thick for boots, just not really tall enough for my liking.

Most comfortable military sock I have had and the quality lasts through multiple washes. Unlike many others that seem nice at first but after 1 or 2 washes seem like cardboard.

Socks appear to not hold their shape. They do not stay up on first wear. Also, much thicker than any other boot sock, which seems to go against their moister-wicking claim. Do not recommend.

Great product. They are over the calf socks, and thick. They shrunk a little after being washed and dried on high heat but nothing to worry about. They actually do wick the sweat away from your feet. I have already ordered more. I will be replacing all of my cotton socks with these.

Too thin, feet slide around in boots. Boots would have to be done up so tight or multiple pairs worn to be effective. Not my idea of a tactical sock.

I've been trying out a lot of different performance socks lately from wool hikers to synthetic military style boot socks. I'd never heard of Jefferies socks before, but after doing some google searches, that was one of the brands that popped up and was available to me in Canada. I wasn't expecting much considering the lower price (compared to "higher end" options costing two to three times as much) but these are fast becoming one of my favorite pairs of socks. Worth noting, and this threw me since I'd never seen this before, they list their socks according to sock size not shoe size. So, make sure to review their comparison chart and size accordingly. I'm somewhere between a size 11-12 boot, so I went with the sock size 10-13 and was pleased with the result. They stay in place without being too tight, have ample padding, and worked great even when I soaked my boot completely through in a brook. I ended up giving a pair to a friend who's also into hiking. Surprisingly, they had issues with their foot sliding around more than usual in the boot (an issue which I didn't experience until I tried a few different insoles). Long story short, depending on the material of your insoles, it is possible that the sock may slide a bit in the boot, so test them before stepping out for a 30km hike. A strong recommendation for the money (roughly $10 a sock).
