Will this work on 2020 Ram Bighorn 1500 with multifunction tailgate?

No just the regular newer 5’7” bed with out multi function. The Leer roll up is worthless don’t bother

Can this be installed with a drop in bed liner for a 2023 ram 1500 Laramie? How do these hold up with use?

I purchased one for my 2021 Laramie because of the price. Replaced after about a year and a half because it started to loose its shape and the latch at the bottom end broke.
