I chose the Fruhol heat and ice therapy cryo ball for treatment of what appears to be newly developed planter fasciitis or stressed ligaments. I read that cold along with rolling out the bottoms of my feet can help. So, I figured what the heck. It is easy to handle. The black holder is a stronger type of plastic and there is a non slip cover on the base. It is very easy to hold by hand and roll out areas. Since it is smaller, it may be a little difficult to put heavy pressure on areas with one hand. Also, the non slip base works well on tile or flat flooring. It tips over a little easy on carpet when rolling out my feet. It has a metal ball that you can heat or chill. I have only tried chilling the ball by placing it in the freezer for a little while. I have to say, the ability to chill the ball and roll out after a long day on my feet was nice. I didn’t think I would care that much, but I liked it. I’m not sure how easy it would be to dip the ball into hot water with the base or if water gets trapped inside. Over all I have liked the therapy ball and it has some features I was missing with my other tools.

The pro is this rollerball helps with my tendonitis. I have tried freezing it, but the cold lasts maybe 15 minutes. I have not tried it warm yet. The issues I have with it are it left grey metallic looking and smelling streaks on my arms where I used it. It happened the first two times (worse after I froze it). I used hand sanitizer and an alcohol wipe to it clean and it stopped leaving a mess on my arm, although my arms still smell like metal. Overall, I am okay with this product.

This product works well on tired, sore muscles and relieves the tightness in tendons. Highly recommended for minor back, knee, and foot pain/discomfort! It can be warmed with water. I found it unnecessary to chill it as the ball is metal and stays pretty cool. It did so well for my husband, I let a friend borrow it. I'll just say I ended up buying a 2nd for my family because it worked so well for her (feet, hip, back) I had to a gift of the 1st.

I've suffered with shoulder pain for a while, used one in the states last year, purchased this hoping it would be half as good. It is easy to use and really works, great value for money!! Five star!!!

I had to wipe the ball down a few times before using it but that was expected. Since inflammation swells the affected area causing pain, the cold massage is great for reducing it and the pain ... great idea!

The wrist ball is very heavy. It can exercise the wrist and reduce the pressure. It is beautiful. I will patronize if necessary.
