Replaces my dual circuit breaker with single circuit.
I was rewiring an outlet for an air compressor from 220 volts to 120 volts and had to change from a dual circuit breaker to a single, so this one fit the opening in the power panel and does what I want. Won't know if it works or not until I have a electrical problem.... but the compressor runs well with the rewired outlet.

Finally replacement circuit breakers for Federal Pacific panels
Perfect fit. It's nice to see a replacement for the old Federal Pacific panels. I have read that it is recommended to replace the whole panel instead of just replacing the breakers. This is due to fire hazards with those old panels. These circuit breakers are inexpensive and slow a fix top be made that won't break the bank.

Functional Replacement
Seemingly well built product, however some breakers did not lock into position. The push in blades fit loosely in housing. No movement on original factory breakers. Movement within the housing can cause blades not to fully bottom out in buss bar. Small lip designed to help lock breaker into panel would not engage to due lack of insertion depth. Pushing breaker from housing would not fully inset breaker into place. I found it necessary to manually push on blades to fully insert breaker into position. I recommend moderately flipping breakers on/off a few times to verify breaker is locked into position.

Installed 5 of these in my breaker box
I have a Federal Pacific box with 16 slots. I have read about all there is about the risks associated with Federal Pacific breakers and boxes. I live in a 30 year old high rise with approximately 360 units. Nobody in my building has ever had any problems with the Federal Pacific breakers that I or building management knows of...but then again, the breakers are 30 years old so I decided to change some of them. I initially ordered 5 of these and have 5 more on the way. I have had no problems installing these Connecticut Electric single pole 20 amp breakers. I plan to get Connecticut Electric 30 and 50 amp double pole breakers maybe in the next year. Depends if I run into any issues with these 20 amp ones. Have run the first five breakers for about two months. Hope I never have to test whether they actually work or not...but since Sears and Home Depot sell these breakers...gives me more peace of mind that they are at least in brand new condition. Changing my breaker box will cost upwards of $2500...nobody in the building has changed out the Federal Pacific box...yet.

One screw missing
After opening, I found a screw missing for one of the circuit breakers. Had to try and find a screw that would fit and work. Frustrating to have to do that and alot of time wasted.

Simple swap
I replaced and old 15 amp with this 20 amp. The wires I had going to this breaker were 12 ga but for some reason only had a 15 amp breaker that constantly popped if my home stereo hit hard bass at a high volume and it was getting old resetting it 3 or 4 times a day. Most likely just had a worn out breaker but decided since the wiring was up for the larger switch I might as well go bigger.
