Minka Aire F844-DK Light Wave LED 52" Brown Low Profile Ceiling Fan with Light, Remote Control and 3.5 Inch Downrod

The fan looks great and work great. It is not noisy, as some other reviews implied. However, it is not easy to install if you use the shorter (3.5") downrod. If you use a longer downrod, it is significantly easier to install. Now that it is up, i'm really happy with the purchase.

This is a great ceiling fan and is the second one of this brand and model that we've purchased for our house. The previous one was installed by an electrician and I did this one, but ran into some minor difficulty with part tolerances and programming. The cast part that the control module fits into is so tight that I was concerned that I might break the control module getting it into the part. Also, the programming function is not quite as advertised. I'm still having problems with it turning the light off when I turn the fan on and vice versa. Not sure if this is due to their being two fans of the same type in the house, or possibly related to an existing wall switch that is always on. I'm going to remove the wall switch and see if this helps with the programming issues, but the installation has left me with mixed emotions on this fan.

Bought 2 of these for our house. LOVE THEM!!! Was a little bit of a pain to install, but worth it. LOVE the look and really quiet. Only complaint would be our house already had 2 switches for the fan and light, and the only way I could figure out to use the switches was to eliminate the remote for the light. even with this I would still buy them again.

The media could not be loaded.  I Love the look of this fan & it is very quiet but buyer beware, my handyman & electrician said it was the hardest fan they've ever installed. Both seasoned pros.

I ordered two 65", one 52" and one 44" as the distressed Koa matched my floor color but none of the light wave fans are high RPM. Even at the highest speed setting, you barely feel the wind standing underneathe even when I used the 6" downrod for all fans. Please do not buy if you are looking for a high wind fan, but go ahead if you are looking to just circulate the air within the room. Remote is good and can be integrated with Alexa using Bond bridge (had to buy that separate). Have to use a floor fan for the next many years as I threw the boxes they came in and now I cannot return these.

The modern 3 blade fan with flat face light looks great in our family room and the remote is a great feature for a fan that hangs over a large table.

I love the fan. However, after 4 months the remote stopped working. I called support and they took cate of it right away. No hassles!! I’d buy again for sure.

update 07/14/2020. The fan is installed and I love it! It is beautiful and silent. The light actually deems. No question about it I will buy this fan again. Highly recommended!!
