Simply Organic Sloppy Joe Seasoning Mix, 1.41 Ounce Packet, Tangy & Robust, Kosher, No Artificial Ingredients (Pack of 12)

I stopped using the canned Manwich many years ago due to added sugar. Then, for the longest time I was using the McCormick sloppy joe packet mixes. But, at some point since the pandemic started, my local grocery store stopped stocking those McCormick packets. Just by chance, I happened to notice this brand in the organic food section. I bought one to try it out, and we loved it. After that, though, I was having a hard time finding these at the grocery store. In desperation I searched the internet and found these. I like them because they are low sugar, and not extremely spicy, as so many foods seem to be today. They do require the use of a small can of tomato paste, but that is fine - I only get annoyed when a recipe calls for part of a can - what am I supposed to do with the rest?

Organic, tasty, perfect. I use it as a sauce base for vegan and vegetarian dishes, quinoa dishes, black-bean pasta -- it is a multi-use sauce mix. (I am a vegetarian, I do not use it for meat-based sloppy joes)

You're not going to fall out of your chair because it's so delicious unless you're a true sloppy joe fan, but it's a good sloppy joe mix for the rest of us. It tastes good and you don't have to wonder what you're eating like you do with most of the mixes on the market. I love the pack of 12 so that I have plenty on hand ... what's easier than making sloppy joes when you're in a pinch for time or not in the mood to think of something to fix for dinner.

This seasoning does not have the rich, spicy, flavor I usually expect in a barbecue mix. It is more bland and if you like a more bland product, this is for you. Those who expect a rich and spicy flavor may be disappointed. That said, I have only used it one packet and perhaps I will get used to the mix or add red pepper to this mix. I love that this organic mix exists. I also use this brand taco mix (excellent!) and mild chili mix (also excellent!).

The descriptions says it is package of 12, one packet only came in an envelope!!! IT IS A SCAM

No need to add any additional spices or hot sauce, this is truly a complete Sloppy Joe solution. I use with ground beef, Impossible Burger plant based beef or a combination of 50/50. Every options comes out great. Will keep on shopping list to make sure it is always in stock. Highly recommend.

I really enjoy using these, along with a pound of ground beef and can of tomato paste. The blend tastes perfect for making sloppy Joe's,and I always have these ready in the cupboard. I read ingredients on everything I buy. Glad to have found this as an organic option.
