The Apocalypse of St. John: A Revelation of Love and Power (Orthodox Bible Study Companion)

Excellent orthodox book on the revelation.

As it happens with most of the orthodox Christian commentaries, the book is cheap, the style in which it is written is simple, but then it tells you, without beating around the bush, all you need to know about the book. I'm very satisfied. I bought lots of other commentaries, 10 times more expensive, but none of them is better than this one. The style is simple, but it's deep and enriching.

An excellent and profound examination of the Book of Revelation. This book explains all of the symbolism contained in the last book of the Scriptures. It's easy to read and well documented. Highly recommend if you're looking to completely understand the "sometimes" hard to understand language of this biblical and spiritual book called the bible, especially Revelations. This book is like a key to the secrets of the Kingdom of God.

I enjoyed the way that Fr. Farley explained how this book was to be received by early Christians and yet how it still apply to us today.

The commentaries by Father Farley are very accessible and easy to read and understand. I am enjoying this commentary on Revelation very much and he goes into history and background, making this Bible book more interesting and not so scary. Highly recommended!
