Powerful pump
Thought pump had too much pressure for my freestanding waterfall feature, but the flow is adjustable by turning the rotating tab on back of the pump.I like a serene sound not a rushing waterfall, so great option. If you have decorative moss or debris that can get in your water, be cognizant it can get caught/sucked in the rotating tab on the back of the pump, but thankfully the tab has plastic bars that catch debris and you can clear it easily, if needed.I have to turn the flow down on my pump or the water will shoot out the top of the waterfall.I have about a 4' rise from the holding tank to the top of the waterfall, so the pump is powerful for my application.Make sure to unplug the pump before you take it out of the water to clean or clear it. Needs to be submerged in water at all times once powered on.I know some people have complained this pump is loud, but I realized if I keep the pump away from the walls of the holding tank and toward the middle of the tank and firmly sitting upright (with help of suction cup feet), it is quiet.Pump also comes with a few different sized water nozzles that attach the pump and hose. The hose is longer than I technically need. I could cut it down some, but I'd rather not (just in case) so I let it loop behind the tank and up through some rigidity bars on the back of the waterfall.I'm glad I purchased this pump, the price is right and it works very well.Build seem sturdy.

Great value for this pump!
Great little pump for outdoor fountain. Nice and relaxing to hear the sound of the falling water. It was a much better price than the nursery had on theirs. Perfect fit for small pump area in fountain.

Pump was WONDERFUL....at first...NOISY NOW UPDATE!!!
I am so disappointed. Went through a lot of work to build my fountain. Got the pump. Loved the power and adjustability. AND it was QUIET!! Yaay! After a few weeks (actually about a day AFTER the return window expired) of very intermittent use (a couple of hours a day) it started 'humming' to almost over power the sound of the water. I removed it. Took it apart and cleaned it (only had one small decomposed leaf in it) and tried it in my sink full of water. Still noisy. I adopted another buyer's hint of putting a thin piece of sponge on the intake (where the flow adjuster is) to eliminate any clogging. Tried it again. Still noisy.I love my water feature. But what's the point if you can hear the pump whirring? And I can't return it. Pooh...UPDATE!! AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Company was super responsive and sent me a new pump right away. So updated to 4 stars... As soon as I install it, if it's quiet like the old one was IN THE BEGINNING...I'll update again to 5 stars...SO nice to know there are companies out there that seem to really CARE about their customers! I am so excited to get this in as I love love my water feature. THANK YOU....

MIGHTY PUMP IN TINY BODY! =D
The media could not be loaded. Can't comment on longevity, as I just installed it.The lift / water movement rate is excellent on my little fountain, better than the original one which died after only one year of useThis pump, as with all others of this type, is super-easy to install.I recommend this particular model -IF the gallon-flow & lift are good for you- if you have a fountain that has a very small space for pump placement; I had to order three different ones before I found the perfect fit: our fountain has the smallest dang space for the pump in the back, in a tiny little 'cave'. All others were just a skoosh too big to fit, by 1/4 to 1/2 "This one has a stronger flow & higher lift listed than my old one did, AND it delivers per description, that's for sure! For reference, my fountain is about 3' tall for the lift, the original pump was rated for 5' lift, but never did flow as well or as fast as this one, as you can see it does in the videoFor the sale price I paid, @20.99 it's the best value on Amazon for these particular specs. Hope it lasts longer than a year

Good performance, questionable quality
I picked up a pair of these pumps to use as water pumps from small reservoirs on timers. Functionally, they work as expected. I only have about three feet of lift to overcome so they are plenty strong enough for the job. Main 1/2" line to multiple drip emitters stays fully charged throughout the active period with no issues. That said, one of them started rattling and clanking by day three. It sounds like a box of loose parts while running so I have to float it on a plastic lid in the middle of the metal reservoir to avoid insanity. I've already ordered a different brand of pump to replace it because there is no question that it will be dying fairly soon. Not recommended due to failed unit. There are a lot of options for pumps. Get one that doesn't feel like you're gambling with the lives of your fish or plants with each order.
