Interesting for Volume Loss, Subtle Results but Worth Trying
I’ve been using Volufiline on and off for about two years now, mainly focusing on my under eye area where I’ve noticed some age and postpartum-related volume loss. The texture is a lightweight oil, but it doesn’t feel overly heavy or greasy. It absorbs pretty well and layers easily with the rest of my skincare. I have normal to slightly dry, sensitive skin, and I haven’t experienced any irritation from it, even using it around my eyes. In terms of what it does, Volufiline is a patented ingredient derived from plant extracts (often from anemarrhena root). It’s thought to work by stimulating adipocytes, or fat cells, to store more lipids. The idea is that over time, this can help create a subtle plumping effect in areas where volume has been lost. There’s often mention of a clinical study where it showed an increase in volume when applied to breast tissue, which is where a lot of the hype comes from. That said, facial skin is obviously very different, so it’s not guaranteed that those same results will translate directly, especially in delicate areas like under the eyes. From my experience, this is not an overnight results type of product. I do notice some short-term plumping and smoothing after application, which I think is partly from the hydration and oil base. Long term, it’s harder to say definitively. I haven’t tracked my results closely enough to attribute visible volume changes specifically to this, though I know others report gradual improvements with consistent use. I see this more as a supportive product rather than a standalone solution. Alongside the basics like sunscreen, tretinoin, and vitamin C, I think it’s a worthwhile addition if you’re looking to address mild volume loss in a non-invasive way. Overall, it’s gentle, easy to use, and interesting from a formulation standpoint. Just go in with realistic expectations and think of it as a long-term experiment rather than a quick fix.

Amazing results!!
I never write reviews but I HAVE to for this amazing product. I’m not one to gatekeep. Saw one of my fav beauty influencers post about this and figured I’d give it a try for my hollow under eyes. I have a natural sunken in orbital bone and like no fat in my under eyes and this product has completely transformed the appearance in under 3 weeks!! My under eyes look plumper and smoother! Feels like I got injections or something. I’ve never gotten results like this with other products. Highly recommend.

Doesn't work for everyone
I added a few drops to a peptide moisturizer. I am cautious with placement since I do not want increased fat in all areas of my face. I also added 5 drops to a small jar of lip balm. I carefully apply the balm to my lips after microneedling. This definitely facilitates a rosy glow and mild lip plumping. I can't say that I've noticed any increase of fat. I think I may be one of the "this doesn't work for me." As a mature woman, my lips have thinned out considerably, and I was hopeful this product would improve this issue. So far, I do not see or feel any long-term benefits. I haven't entirely given up. I will continue to use until the bottle is empty. If there are no visible results thereafter, I won't purchase again. I still gave 4 stars because there are benefits to the right skin types or possibly it has to do with age. Less mature skin may see better/faster results. BTW, I've been using the product for about 3 weeks.

Taller upper lift in TWO days?!!!! It works!
Ok, this is bizarre. I thought it would take weeks or months or even a few bottles before seeing any changes. I know I’m not seeing things?!! I went to apply the 2nd round of this stuff to my lips tonight and did a double take. My upper lip is….. taller? More pronounced? I applied it twice yesterday when I got it: once with my lip gloss, just a tiny drop to see how it felt. Then again at bedtime by itself, just a drop or less to my lips like it’s a lip oil. Actually I thought it looked a little bigger today when I applied my lip liner! I had a slightly more enhanced “V” shape. Tonight I did a side by side pic and can see a difference. I’m 44 and have noticed a loss of volume in my skin overall, including my lips. I have deep 11 lines that didn’t even freeze all the way when I got Botox last time. My under eyes are more hallow and my cheeks lack fullness. I just applied 2 drops to my lips, under eyes, and a few of my forehead lines. We’ll see if it plumps up my 11s. If it works this fast on my lips, I may need to slow down 😅 Do a patch test, but def try this stuff!!

Doesn't work
Firstly, I recommend reading this post that's titled as "I think volufiline is a dropshipping scam [research]" on reddit. Now, in my experience, this is nothing more than an oil that's sold as a miracle worker, and this has nothing to do with the real volufiline (whether the real ingredient actually works is an open question too, but at least it's backed up by some experiments). This oil gives some hydration but no real increase of fat cells. The effects are temporary and are no different from the effects I get using my other moisturizing products. I used this for my undereyes for a month with no results. I then tried applying it all over my face mixed with an oil-based emulsion - still no difference (wanted to test if I'll see any effect on areas with more fat, because afaik it works better when there is some fat to reproduce). I see better results with some of my hydrating, HA and peptide-based serums. I'm sad that I've wasted my money on a scam and can't get a refund :(

Nothing. Its just a neutral oil and doesnt do anything.
Its just an oil in my eyes I noticed nothing. Nothing looks or feels fuller. Even tried spot treatments applying just the product (lips, fine wrinkles) nothing happened. Ill finish the bottle cause id feel regretful otherwise. However after 2 months no benefits. Doesnt even make me face seem/feel hydrated. This feels like snake oil to me. Perhaps if you have the right genetics this works. But its def a YMMV type product. And unfortunately for me its a dud. On a good note no bad side effects. I didnt break out from this or get red or burned. Its just like applying a neutral oil. I did mix it in with a moisturizer i use on my face and will continue that from now on. This bottle will last me a long time as it doesnt require much to mix in. No benefits, but no bad side effects.

This changed my life
My experience is a niche one most likely, but my results could make me cry. I was born with a cleft lip and palate. My doctor did what he could back in the 80’s, but I have a significant scar that has always made me self-conscious. I’ve tried everything after working over a decade in beauty and nothing worked quite like this. Within a week (!) my scar was dramatically reduced. The skin texture around the scar is much more plump and it looks soft (used to be porous and dehydrated). I had a severe indent above my lip and that is filling out. I’ve never felt more beautiful. This has given me an insurmountable confidence that I’ve never experienced. And it’s so cheap! This is a surgical scar so obviously it can’t ever go away, but now it looks more like the rest of my face T.T I can’t believe it. I can’t wait to see what results consistent use will bring! The texture is that of an oil so I don’t mind it. Oils actually feel quite luxurious to me and high quality. One drop is plenty and it soaks in fast. The smell is herbal and doesn’t make my eyes water which happens bc I have very sensitive skin/eyes/allergies. I’m able to put on my day/night cream after a minute or so and it just feels moisturized (only slightly heavy). I’ve also been putting it directly on my lips, on the nasal labial folds, under my eyes, the “eleven line spot” in between my brows and on two forehead fine lines and I’ve seen improvement in all areas. One drop for it all! This bottle should last a very long time. Honestly, I’ll never be without it.

WARNING… IT WORKS
I’m 36 yo and have had under eye filler and Botox in the past. This definitely works for me. I see more volume and fullness in the places I’ve used it (mostly on my face). Now for some unsolicited big sister advice. I also found this on TikTok. It’s really amazing. I feel comfortable using it after doing my reading. Before we go wild… WARNING: To my knowledge there is no easy way to reverse the effect. Some people have regrets about using this product (see Reddit). I’ve described how I went about using this below. I am not a healthcare professional. I am a stranger on the internet. Act accordingly. Do some research: 1. Can your concern be fixed with filler? Anatomy is wild. Sometimes the answer isn’t obvious. 2. Where do doctors add filler when they are addressing your concern? Again, anatomy is wild. This isn’t a wrinkle cream. If you just put it in the lines on your face things may go wrong (again, Reddit). I found YouTube helpful for this step. 3. Look up [your concern] filler gone wrong. Seeing common mistakes explained will help you avoid them. 4. Consider sticking to really natural looks. Again, I don’t know of a way to reverse this. Stick to a baseline that looks natural and follow up with filler if you want something more trendy like large rounded lips. (Hopefully you’ll pay less because you need less filler) Prep 1. Make sure it stays where you want it! The instructions say to mix with lotion. I’d recommend something like Aquaphor or Vaseline. You don’t want this to slide around. 2. Wash your hands. See 1 if you don’t want it on your hands don’t leave it there. 3. Wash your face. I don’t leave this on forever. I usually wash it off after about an hour. Sometimes it’s less if I decide to do something I think would smear it or if I think I’ll forget and scratch my face or rub my eyes. I’d rather see less progress than end up with unintended outcomes. Go for it (slowly) 1. Take a picture of your face. Use all the things you learned in your research and mark the photo up. Note exactly where you are going to add volume. Keep the photo so you maintain consistent placement. 2. Take pictures so you can see what exactly changes. Keep the light consistent. Do pictures of front and sides 3. Focus on one thing at a time (under eye, then lips, then nasolabial folds…) so you can focus on how that changes your face overall 4. Don’t be afraid to pause. Seeing your face change is strange. Sometimes you need to take a break and get used to how you look before you make more changes (because if you don’t you can go off the rails trying to “fix” things that are actually fine). If you are using this on your breast… Please do regular breast self exams. (Everyone else, please do them too.) it’s important to know what your healthy breast feels like. When you change your breast composition (eg gain or lose weight) that feeling changes. Keep track of your new normal. :)

Definitely noticed a significant difference under eyes
As a girl who has had under eye filler, this WORKS. I have noticed better brightening & removal of the dark circles I had preciously been getting under eye filler for that I was contemplating needing a top up, now I'll just get dissolved. At first I mixed this with my eye cream as recommended not to use directly, once I confirmed my skin won't have a reaction I started applying my eye cream then a drop of it directly to my under eye area where I've really noticed a difference. Even small wrinkles have decreased. Once my filler is dissolved I want to do another review really noticing the difference, but this with filler? Unstoppable honestly.

Works amazing for lips
I have naturally quite think lips, especially my top lip and I’ve been using this for a few days and it works so well, I’ve noticed more volume. My upper lip is now bigger and so is my lower one I use the applicator directly onto my lips and then seal it with Vaseline
