## Description

Review: Great cleaner and lubricant at an excellent price - This is the first gun cleaner/lubricant I've bought, so take my review with that in mind, but overall this is an excellent dual-purpose cleaner. It easily gets off the carbon grime using a thick brush and provides excellent lubrication for the slide. Rather than using the included spray mechanism, I bought separate bottles and filled them with the CLP - one smaller, fine spray bottle (for cleaning) and one bottle with a needle tip (for applying oil for lube). For a smaller gun, I'd recommend this setup so that you can more finely control where the product is going. I'm happy with this and will definitely get it again when needed - which will likely be in some time! The two bottles I've bought - 2.5 oz. and 0.5 oz. - have been used three times now and are still essentially full. I clean my weapon after every trip as I find cleaning to be a meditation of sorts and relaxing. Assuming weekly trips to the range and cleaning after every trip, I expect this bottle will last at least a year if not longer. Can't complain about a year's supply of cleaner for the price!

In 1987 I join the Marines, shortly later served in Desert Storm then again in IRAQ. Each time carrying a 1911 on my side....cleaned and lubricated with CLP. If you're military you get it, if a civilian maybe not. So here's the deal, CLP is the best lubricant type product to use on a weapon PERIOD!!!! I used it when in the chit, and I use it now as a Civy. So trust me it works well, just buy you'll get it.

**Q: Double-check your prices for two, three and four bottles.   Two bottles @ $23.34 should not be $119.95!!! Lol.**
A: Yes. And the charge for this stuff is making it low-value, overall. Should be about $1.00 per ounce for a pint or more.

**Q: Does this harm wood or plastic?**
A: I don't think it harms plastic, I've used it on firearms with plastic grips and there was no trouble. I wouldn't use it on wood though. It's an oil and a solvent, the oil would, bare minimum, soak into the wood I would imagine.

**Q: Is the sprayer adjustable to a stream or a mist?**
A: The one I have will adjust but for handguns it put out way too much oil when you use pressure.  I would put some in a smaller bottle for use.
