Zoook Rocker Thunder Pro 30 Watt Wireless Bluetooth Party Speaker (Black)

So as to my expectations and experience with this wonderful little device is very fine, sweet, sad and altogether melodramatic. I bought this on Jan 8, and as expected the Amazon delivery was two days prior to be delivered. Pro: Size is pretty small for its sound. Finishing is very good and looks classy and elegant. Sound quality is fair enough as it tends to reverb a lot with a typical buzzing sound sometimes. Connects in 5 seconds. Best prize. For thousand buck is fair deal. Not Bose though. Cons: On the day it arrived it had little juice innit; so for 1st hour it played very fine but my heart broke when the Bluetooth couldn't connect properly or it played in slow pace and with horrible sound with track sticking in between. Worst Deal: No Aux.

I bough this product for 2 in 1 use, As a BT speaker and as alternate and portable Karaoke system. After using for about a months here is what I experienced. Pros - 1. As a BT speaker loud enough for a large area of about 600 to 800 sq.ft. 2.Very light weight as easy to carry, good portable package if you want to sing along over weekend trips 3.For its size and weight it has got a very good bass, (I was not really expecting this much) 4. Very well priced. 5. Mic connectivity is seamless and no hassles there. Same with BT connectivity 6. Good batter back up of around 5 to 7 hours of non stop usage and can be charged with any android device charger. 7. Good and easy to operate equalizer options. 8. Option for TWS in case you want add another speaker in future Cons - 1. Mic quality is below par as compared to a dedicated Karaoke system (I have Persang Karaoke and its has got a way better Mic but of course much more expensive than this.) I think the Mic should have been a little better. 2. Customer service - I received a call from Customer care for confirming purchase and source etc. When I asked a a basic question about replacement Mic or possibility of connecting with another third party MIc the representative had no answer. She did say that she will find out and will call me back but never received a call back even after 15 days. 3. The Disco lights can't be turned off :-( and thats a big turn off. Imagine listening to a Ghazal or a Bhajan and those disco lights trying to catch up with the rhythm? There should have been an option to turn it off. 4. I was hell bent on not buying a Chinese product even at a discounted price and decided on this because its a French company but you know what? When I received I was disappointed to see that it is Made in China. All in all its a much better speaker than the small ones in terms of loudness and bass effects. I have two small ones already and this beats them by far. The speaker was loud enough for my neighbors to get disturbed when on full volume. If you are a Karaoke freak its a good portable device but not good for serious Karaoke singing. For small parties its a good portable BT speaker. At this price I would say its a good buy (Except that Made in China Tag)

The moment I opened the package, my first thought was that I have been cheated. It seems someone else had returned this product. The cellophane cover was missing and there was no charger, no battery cells for the mike. Slight turn of Volume control button suddenly increase to full volume. The sound quality is horrible. To add to my frustration, the only option for you is to ask for replacement with the same product, and money cannot be refunded.

First of all let me be clear that this review is for zook boombox atom model and not the other ones. Product is average. Aux is only for input and not for output. So if you want to use this as fm radio like me, remember that you can't route the fm to your home theatre or any other device. You need to hear on this device only. Indoor FM is very poor even with antenna pulled all the way up. Outside/outdoor FM works great. Sound quality isn't bad neither it's too good. Bass is also ok. Sound is too loud at approx 70% volume. Then it distorts and at 100% volume it becomes inaudible and distortion takes control. Check out the video for Bluetooth sound quality. Overall ok product for 999/- (prime day sale) and one can definitely buy it.

(My review will be based on the features and quality you get for the specified price tag. The 10 figure rating is what I get compared to what I expect.) If I have ever made a decision to buy something disregarding my own inclination towards the so called brands; buying the Zoook ZB Rocker will be the number one that list. This absolutely gorgeous and worth product from a not so famous brand is something that will blow everything else in this price category out of the water. I can vouch for that. I bought this after a thorough research. The first one came to into consideration was the JBL Go obviously. The ZB Rocker is priced at half of that of Go and has better specs and build quality. So I'll mostly compare the ZB Rocker with Go. Quick Review ------------------ PROS : Great build quality (METAL) - Dual drivers and immense sound quality - Huge battery life - Ultra portable - 5W power output - Superb battery life - Exceptional price. CONS : No aux input - Some minor connectivity issues. Let me break down the features now. 1. Build quality (8.5/10) ------------------------------ The ZB Rocker has a thick Aluminum frame on which the two drivers are housed. I think this is the only speaker with a metal enclosure in this range. The metal body makes it feel so sturdy and you can feel it just by holding it. As it's metal made there won't be any flex or undesired vibrations created by the speaker itself. Means the sound produced will be perfect as it should be. The plastic used is also of good quality. It has a perfect form factor which makes it ultra portable. The only complaint I have is about the control buttons. They seem cheap and has some wiggling. But they serve the purpose nevertheless. So in terms of quality, I give it 8.5/10. 2. Sound Quality (9.5/10) ---------------------------------- The ZB Rocker has 90Hz – 20Khz of frequency response which is better than the Go's 180Hz - 20KHz. But that's in paper. How does it perform in real-life ? Well, for that I'll give 9.5/10. The Rocker has two separate drivers - one for medium to high frequencies and separate bass driver low frequencies or bass. For this reason, the Rocker sounds exceptional. I admit that there will appear some distortions at too high volumes which you can't bear hearing, but that's only when you push the limits. At normal volumes, there's no detectable distortions and it sounds fine. The volume is more than adequate and the fidelity is unchanged at all volume levels. So if you're an audiophile, you're gonna love this, trust me. 3. Battery Life (9.5/10) ------------------------------- Compared to JBL Go, ZB Rocker has a battery capacity of 1800 mAh, where Go only has 600 mAh. I've been using this for more than 5 months, so I can assure you that this speaker has 6-7 hours of playback time in 80-90% volume. Battery life depends on various factors but a 5-6 hour operation is guaranteed at full charge. It has a standard micro USB for charging so you can use any phone chargers as the speaker doesn't come with any. 4. Connectivity (7/10) ------------------------------ It's a Bluetooth speaker and thus works with all phones with BT connectivity and pairs without any problem. But there's was some strange problems while playback. It sometimes loose connectivity and seems to interfere with the WiFi band. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the speaker itself, but it does get interfered by the WiFi. This is apparent when I have my laptop, phone, and many other devices using the WiFi and are in close proximity. The ZB Rocker has no AUX input which could be a deal breaker for some, but wasn't for me. I mean it's a BT speaker. I don't want a leash attached to it. So that was fine for me. There's also a TF card slot with which you can play music from the SD card. 5. User Interface (8/10) -------------------------------- By user interface I meant control buttons and indicators. It has four push buttons at one side; a power button, volume up, volume down and pause/call button. Holding the power button will turn it on and off. The volume buttons also functions as next and previous buttons. So you have to actually hold it the volume buttons to either increase or decrease the volume which isn't that friendly. A double tap should've been the next and previous functions. There's a single bi color LED which lights blue on normal operation and turns red while charging. 6. Price (10/10) ---------------------- I bought it for Rs.929 as a lightning deal offer. The product is worth every penny considering the features and the exceptional build quality it has for a product at this price range. You will not regret buying this. 7. Portability (10/10) ----------------------------- It weighs 258 grams and has dimensions of 90 x 70 x 37.5 (mm), a bit larger than Go, but still fits in your palm and will fit in your pocket too. Verdict : So if you're planning to buy a BT speaker in the Rs. 1000-1500 price range, that is portable but yet has great sound quality and battery life , then this one will be wise choice. Highly recommended.

The best u can buy in this price range... 1.The audio is clear upto 90 % of the volume... 2.Battery back up is more than claimed. Used it for 11 hrs straight from full charge on 90% volume. 3. Ample base response. Output is the same as the ue roll but this also has excellent low ends on it. 4. Party in a room ??? This will do the job for u. Enough for a croud of 15-20 and sometyms its soo lound that u ll have to shout to speak. 5. Rugged as f***. Yes I've drop tested it from 25 ft high (1st floor of a building) all the damage caused wz cusioned by the Shockproof body... 6. It will get dirty thats for sure.. but kudos to u.. u can wash it all off.. thnks to IP6 . . Been using it for 2 months nd could only think of 2 things to complain bout. . . *Cons* 1. Takes 3-4 hrs for full charge.. but that can be resolved if u have a fast charger.. 2. Bluetooth connectivity is not for a very long distance 20 feets or basically one room nd a wall.. All in all the single best investment i made.. dint expect such great quality from what is believed to be an Indian product and the low ends are better than the one on flip 2 YES I OWN BOTH OF THEM... BUT PREFFER THIS ONE...

I was looking for compact and economical karaoke system which must be easy to carry and with no or less cable connection.Wirless mic would b icing on cake. Finally i check zoom thunder karaoke with wireless mic in a price tag of less than 3000 Rs. I checked the details and ordered immediately and Amzon delivered within one day. I liked following points of this system. 1) lightweight and compact with wireless mic. 2) Good sound quality.30w output sufficient for small gathering. 3) Echo and independant volume control for mic and music. 4)Other features like fm, aux,usb and corded mic input. 5) Good battery life. 6) Charging cable and aux cable is in box. 7) It has one year warranty. 8) No interference with other devices while using wireless mic. We missed following features in it,but definitely it would increase cost. 1) No sound recording facility in it. 2) No sound output jack in it.you can not connect it to home theatre or av receiver. 3) No remote but it doesn't make any difference. 4) Front switch labels needs improvement. 5) Mic quality is good but we need to hold mic close to mouth. There are fancy lights which starts blinking when you start the system but we can turn it off by long pressing key near volume control. We need to disconnect blutooth device first before switching off the unit. Otherwise we can not connect diffrent Bluetooth device to it.It will try to search for last device connected. This is china product which I came to know later. Overall this product is as per my requirement and good one.
