It looks good, feels nice in your hand. All the bristles were even, there was no shedding bristles, it's soft, but still firm enough to get a nice massage to the scalp. (I have a short buzzed haircut) I washed it before, using it for the first time. I dried it with a warm blow dryer. I'm sure you could let it air dry, but I wanted to hurry up and try it out Even after washing and drying it, there still was no shedding bristles. Note: if you wash this brush, don't soak it with water and soap for too long. You don't want to damage the wooden handle.
