I like this nice nightlight very much. I purchased this knowing it was an economy piece however the firm base that holds plug, on/off switch and stars/moon cover is well made for the price. It provides a soft glow to the bathroom and is very pretty. The shade is made of plastic so if you are looking for something with more substance this probably wouldn't be for you, nor would I give it as a gift. I am very pleased with this purchase. Good job Amazon on this inexpensive pretty nightlight. Yes, I do recommend this for providing a low light to a darkened space in the home.

My mother-in-law had one and I really liked it, so I got one for myself. I know it’s just a nightlight but it’s cute, unique, and, unlike a lot of nightlights, not blindingly bright. Amazon was the only place I could find it. It’s great for the hallway and stairs outside our bedroom. I no longer need to take my cell phone and use its flashlight app just to go to the fridge in the middle of the night.

Kinda cheap. Pretty overpriced. It's also hard to find an incandenscant C7 night light these days so there aren't a lot of options. But I don't think it should cost more than $5. Item itself is perfectly functional, though I would recommend switching to frosted lamps as the holes in the shade cause glare with a crystal one.

This inexpensive nightlight casts a pleasant 4 watt light, bright enough to keep from stumbling in the dark of the night. It can be turned off and on. It is incandescent type so good idea to order a few extra bulbs, although bulbs last several months. I chose because I like the way it looks in the dark of the night.

The cutest little nightlight ever, but still packs some serious wattage! I put this in the bathroom, and I love that it doesn't look childish at all. I also really like that you can turn the light on and off easily, so it's not on during the day when you don't need it (although I will admit that I sometimes forget to turn it off). I highly recommend if you're looking for a little extra light anywhere in your house!

Maybe it was naive of me, but I thought this night light would project the cut out stars and moon on the wall in my daughter's nursery. I was very disappointed to discover that it does nothing of the sort. So if you're hoping for stars on the wall - keep looking.The cover doesn't go fully over the light, so it's pretty bright. The stars and moon part is just a partial barrier that comes off fairly easily if pulled on (which may be a problem when she starts crawling). The cover is a purple-ish blue which I prefer to true blue, but if you're expecting a very BLUE blue, you won't get it. The only thing I like about this night light is the on/off switch so I can leave it plugged in. It was only $5.46 so it's not worth the hassle to return, but I'm disappointed and wish I had purchased something else instead. My recommendation is to look elsewhere.

It's cute. Pretty much what would be expected. My only gripe is that the cover with the stars/moon comes off so my kids keep playing with it. Also, I didn't read the information closely and was expecting this to be dark blue, but it's actually purple. This was my fault; when I checked back it's listed as purple in the details, but from the picture on my computer I was expecting a blue that would match my sons' room. We like it anyway.

I have a newborn sleeping in my bedroom and I needed a nightlight to be able to see during those late night/early morning feedings without having to turn on the bright room lights. The light itself is soft in color, but the light it puts out is a lot. It is perfect for what I am using it for, but for some it may be too much light. Before buying the light I read the reviews where some people complained about the stars and moon cut outs not casting shadows in the wall. I can confirm that this is true, but again that is not why I bought it.
