The part number 2GWHDA6B is not what is depicted on the Amazon ad. I took a gamble hoping that the right door arrived. It was the correct part. The pic on the ad shows a 2GWHD which is considerably smaller than the A6B. Thankfully the ad pic was wrong and there were no reviews that identified it as so. That's why I am emphasizing here just in case someone else runs into the same issue. Other than that small issue, this is perfect. It's a solid door and the hinges are pretty sturdy. With my heater being on the passenger side, it's a little strange that there aren't options i this door for opening the opposite way. Opening towards the wind (or forward) was a concern but there is an option to install a screw to secure the door shut. The door covered a 18" wide by 14" high hole/cutout that my previous Atwood on demand water heater mounted in. I am a happy camper now!

Fit perfect and took minutes to install!Make sure you do your research for the door that’s specifically meant to fit the hole that your old water heater left. As long as you do that then it should fit.

I ordered this door which they claim to be the replacement door for an Atwood 6 gallon water heater, but it is actually the replacement door for a Suburban style water heater.I quadruple checked the part number they claimed they're selling, and the part number is correct for the Atwood, but the door is not.I ordered the same part number from elsewhere and it was correct.Buyer beware. If you are replacing an Atwood style water heater this door will not fit!!!!
