I originally looked at these seats because they were inexpensive, almost cheaper than what I could find used. But now that I own these, I appreciate the good value for the price. I'm happy and these make my Hot Rod look good

The seats are very comfortable. The threaded hole lined up with the 75 CJ5 drivers side bracket. The bolts are 8.8 metric. it would have been a plus if that information was included in the instructions. Or simply include the correct thread bolt with the seats. The passenger side seat did not line up with the Passenger bracket. I used some 2inch x1/4 flat stock and a little drilling to make the passenger side work. It took about half a day to get it right. I would estimate a moderate Skill set level to do.The shipment of the seat was fast. I received my seat 3 days after I had ordered them. Very impressive.

I needed better seats for a deuce and a half I'm restoring, but wanted something that looks stock. These seats fit the bill. Had to make a custom mount for the driver's seat, but nothing a couple of pieces of steel bar couldn't solve. Passenger seat just involved drilling some holes in the stack bench seat rack, which then allowed me to build a custom center console. Seats are pretty comfy for what they are – not luxury seats, but do they do their job well. All in all, I'm happy, especially since it's hard to find seats that'll fit in old military vehicles without major modification. For my purpose, I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.

I installed a set of these in a 61 Ford F100. I chose these due to their size. I wanted to keep the seat below the back window and as far back as possible due to long legs. They fit the bill perfectly.A couple things to consider:1. The material is fine but not the heaviest2. The seat backs are fixed at about a 90 degree angle so you have to mount the front edge slightly higher than the rear to be comfortable...at least for me.All in all I am satisfied with the construction and quality of the seats.

Love these. Super comfortable and bolt right in. Well made. They do sit a little higher, but NBD.

Did not buy it for what it was intended actually put this on a trike very comfortable good back support well made and very easy to install

False advertisement. they won't even fit a pre 1976 cj5 Jeep even with some fabrication. It would take all new brackets. Seems as there aren't any available. In other words build your own or see if you can return them. Manufacturer SmittyBilt says do modifications on your own cause they don't make these seats anymore. So tough luck according to them. The manager at smittybilt just had excuses. False information on what it fits. It will take major modification to make them fit.

Bought this to replace the seat in my Humvee drivers seat. Great quality. Came as directed. Only problem was there was no mention of the thread pattern in the bolt holes. Make sure you get them right as they stop out is the pattern is wrong. TakeThe seat to the hardware store and match it up. It metric but I can’t remember the size.
