Audeze LCD2-BAMBOO headphone AUD-1429 (japan import)

If you're considering spending this much on a pair of headphones there's probably not too much I can say here that you won't of already googled. However, I recently purchased these direct from Audeze and consider it to be the best headphone I've owned to date. If I had to sum up the LCD-2's in one word, it'd probably be "liquid". The bass is probably the best feature of these cans, and can deliver thunderous bass with the force of a thousand suns yet seamlessly blend into the mid range without emphasis on either. Mid range has been quoted as "godlike" and I have to agree, listening to Diana Krall on these has brought her voice to life more than any other headphone sub £1000 I've heard. Treble is in my opinion pretty much perfect, not overbearing and harsh but not too rolled off that it makes the headphone too dark/muddy.
