Takes a while to get here (Texas) but I was expecting that. It's coming from Japan. If you can't wait, you need a lesson in patience. Loved them. Weird taste, not necessarily bad, but its fun to put together and try to figure out what the instructions say. would buy again simply because it's fun, interesting, and a great activity with friends.

Very fun product. The kids really enjoyed playing with these kits. We watched YouTube videos to make sure we did it right. Taste like weak slightly flavored sugar. Highly recommend for 6-13 year olds.

Shipping took quite a while, but showed up a bit earlier than estimated. The kits were a lot of fun for me and my daughter to make. Some of the candy was really good, and some of it was really weird. The Doughnuts and Ice Cream were really good. Pretty much anything with icing. The Sushi was gross, the Nerikyan town or whatever, can't recall the name atm, wasn't the greatest. It didn't really have anything special about it. It didn't have any real instructions to follow. The cheeseburger actually tasted like cheeseburger, it was odd, but very interesting and fun to make. I found instructional videos for all of these on YouTube, but there are also English translated instructions to be found online too. I might buy them again some time, waiting on shipping is the big trouble with these. At least now I know which ones to avoid.

I bought my daughter a nice selection of these to test out and play around with for her birthday. We did one a day for five days. We really liked the ramen and donuts but all were good. There was one with grape flavoring that I absolutely hated. It was just one piece of the whole thing so it didn't mess up everything. The hamburger kit is not candy flavored. It is flavored like a real hamburger and fries. Off-putting at first but not disgusting. My daughter liked the little fries. It's similar to a science experiment but edible.

It just arrived today, a couple days before the estimated date so that's nice! However, I did not receive the cake one that was advertised, it is an entirely different kit that has edible colored dough that you mold. It's not a huge deal to me, but just thought I'd let others know that they might not get these exact kits!
