Very clear display, however the unit will not recognize my HDD which is a WD 2TB sata unit. No reply from techs.

The UI feels a bit dated but everything worked for me the first try. I am having issues trying to save video to my local hard disk. I believe there may be browser compatibility issues. I tried using Internet Explorer 11 and the latest version of Chrome. The player asks you to install a small application but after it installs it didn't work and continues to tell me to install the application again after repeated attempts. Tried rebooting and got the same results. I purchased a Western Digital 1 gigabyte purple edition hard disk which it immediately recognized. As I'm found with most DVR systems, the documentation is limited and security camera terminology is thrown about with little explanation. I do recommend this product. It's a good value.

The only problem is it does not work with all browsers... So far only IE works.

It's a great dvr for the price.You have to do your own port forwarding to remote view on the Super Live Pro app. It only has HDMI and vga video outputs. You can control a PTZ on it and setup a domain name.This is good but they also have a next generation dvr that allows you to register a domain name through the dvr instead of this generations one where you register it online. But it's all the same just one less step.All in all a good product and I would buy another one.

This is really a professional DVR, I say this because I replace this DVR with my swann DVR. This is much better!!1. The software interface looks awesome, the pure black design shows the quality, once I this on, I already know this is a very good system.2. The camera video quality is much better, i think this is because they called 960H. and I also connect this DVR via HDMI. My old DVR doesn't have these 2 features, so when I replace the DVR, connect to my old camera, wow, totally different.3. The phone App is amazing.- Not only see live video, but also can playback each channel and change DVR's setting.- Zoom the video via phone.- See 8 channels on same screen in the phone.- I believe if I have multiple DVR, I can add them on the same screen. I think that's the feature called CMS on the phone.4. This is a reliable system, because this has tech log shows all the errors and trace the system.The con part is no hard drive build in, i have to follow youtube to install my own hard drive. however, with this price, what i can complaint.

Not happy at all its keep turning off and turning on cant get to get remote access on the phone or ipad also. Cant give a starr for this product yet.

This DVR was low cost i used the existing sata drive from my SVAT system. My existing cameras worked no problem at all. I upgraded to this system because the SVAT remote interface was difficult to use, did not support Apple and did not have smart phone interface. I chose this model because it works on both Apple and Microsoft Platform. The software included only works on Microsoft platform but is not needed. To set up the unit initially you need to connect it to a monitor or tv, it has both HDMI and VGA outputs but the HDMI only supports 1080. After the unit is set up on your local network you can use a web browser to do all the configuration. I have not been able to get it to work using google there seems to be a problem with a needed plug in but it works on Safari no problem. The free app BroView works well on the smart phone. Overall a nice inexpensive upgrade to the SVAT system.

We had 2 and were unable to make either one work. We got continual shut down. So returned and purchased one of another Manufacturer.
