Adblue Barrel: Adblue Is A Non Hazardous Solution Of Pure Urea In Deionized Water. It Is Not A Fuel Additive Or Alternative Fuel, Adblue Is Stored In Its Own Tank On The Vehicle Chassis And Injected Into The Hot Exhaust Gas After The Engine. This Pollution Control System Is Called Scr Selective Catalytic Reduction And Is Used In Most New Commercial Vehicles To Reduce Nitrogen Oxide Nox Emissions. Adblue Is A Slightly Alkaline Fluid That Corrodes Mild Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Brass And Nickel. Once Dissolved, These Metals Will Reduce The Effectiveness Of The Catalyst And Ultimately Cause The Vehicle To Operate Outside Of Regulated Pollutant Limits. Some Vehicles Have A Dedicated Tank For Adblue Which Will Be Clearly Marked Usually With A Blue Cap .
