Limited number of recharge cycles
The concept is great and the vacuum works very well. Battery life on a single charge is a bit short but with two batteries it's not an issue. The problem is that the battery can only handle a limited number of recharge cycles. Both of our batteries started dying after just a couple of minutes on medium power after less than 6 months of light use. If you don't mind spending extra $120 every six months on replacement batteries, this is a good vacuum cleaner. If not, look elsewhere.

It only lasts 15 minutes when on power level 3
Battery life is horribly! Contacted the RAYCOP company to get a new canister because ours cracked! They said they would send one they never did!

Battery life is very short lived. This vacuum will join several other useless models in my closet.
The battery is expensive and short lived, lasting only a few months before it stopped charging. Replacements range from $80-$90 minimum. This vacuum will remain unused in my closet until I decide to trash it. Wish I had read the reviews before I bought.

The worst battery! Stay away from Raycorp
The battery doesn’t last. If you get six months with limited use, consider yourself lucky. They are not cheap and you will spend almost as much as the vacuum cost over two years. It’s absolutely my worst purchase and regret not going with the Dyson.

Batteries Won't Recharge
Batteries very quickly would not recharge. They are lithium but there must be a design flaw since they only ran about 7 months and then would not recharge. I tested them and there is no voltage on the terminals no matter if they charge overnight even.
