It does a wonderful job of lowering my blood pressure. I like that I can adjust the amount of loose leaf to make a stronger cup. I like to try the product out first. A friend told be about "Hibiscus Flower" to drink as a tea. I first had to go to YouTube to see the benefits of it and to hear other folks reviews. It did help with my water retaining. My diabetes numbers went down. Plus, I became a Vegan 2 months ago (based on a documentary " What The Health"). I followed the instrution on the package. Per my friend advice, she suggested, I pre-make a pitcher/gallon of it and place it in the refrigerator for futher use. I drink it without any sweetner. It's a bitter taste without the honey, sugar or agava. My niece has been using it to,, she also put some in a spray bottle to help with hair growth (YouTube suggestion).. i have been feeling much better, less aches and less joint pain. The tea has been taking the excess fluid off me. I drink a hot cup in the morning and at night. it can be drinking cold too. I do notice when I drink it, I feel real relax. I did go to my doctor and my A1C went down alot. I order a second bag from this company. I also found a guy on YouTube cooking it as a taco meal. Well I tried it. Lol... it was ok, not bad at all, but not a everyday thing for me, no mama. I bought it to make a hibiscus-anise simple syrup for cocktails. It is indeed whole flowers, has a wonderful earthy, cranberry-like smell, and best of all, no critters lurking in the bag! (I’m halfway through my first bag.)
