One of the best GPS devices for our RC vehicles..easy to use with the App and accurate. I do recommend you buy a case /holder for it though because one high speed tumble and its gonna get all scratched up and look ugly lol dont ask me how I know lol you can order a case/holder on Etsy or maybe ebay and amazon. I did a short distance speed run on my Rlaarlo omni terminator rc truck and i got 44mph as shown in the pic. Very satisfied with this GPS device. Battery life is ok too i dont use it much but so far the battery life is decent and uses the regular type c charger which is great.

I recently purchased a Traxxas Maxx V2 (Widemaxx) and liked the onboard telemetry that it already had. I bought the bluetooth module for the transmitter, and explored and used the Traxxas Link app enough to get familiar with it and noticed that it used rpm, tire size, and gear ratio to determine the speed of the vehicle. I figured that it would get a good estimate on vehicle speed by using math and such, but I felt that it would only be in the ballpark and wanted something more accurate and definite like a gps unit would. I was going to buy the telemetry expander kit and Traxxas's gps module, but it was a little out of my price range, even though I felt it would be nice to have everything in one app. However, every time a watched a YT video of someone doing a speed run, they had this SkyRC module and I wanted to know why they were using this instead of the Traxxas unit. Price is my guess, as this is more affordable and it is also universal to anything you want to strap it to. In my limited use of this device, I will say that it is a great unit. It's small (there are no actual buttons on it, it powers on when you open the app) and the app is very simple and straightforward to use. I currently have it velcro'd and ziptied to the front shock tower brace (just above and forward of the steering servo and bellcrank on my maxx) and crashed and tumbled and it's been just fine. No issues with durability whatsoever. The battery life is fine in my opinion (I have used it about 4 or 5 times on some 10-15 minute speed run/bashing sessions and it's still at 80% battery life), and I mounted it in such a way that the usb port is accessible without me having to cut the zipties and remove it from the truck. As far as accuracy is concerned, I feel that it's about as good as it's going to get (what's better than gps in this instance? ). I typically see it linked to around 12 or so satellites, and I live in a moderately wooded sub/rural area and it connects to them within about 30 or so seconds. Great buy, No complaints with the unit or the app

This thing is awesome. Wish I knew about it prior to buuing my traxxas telemetry kit. This is so much simpler and more accurate then the rom sensor I initially installed. Can move it from car to car, just velcro/command strip it on, download app and see your top speed. Have and woukd definitely recommend this. Well worrh the orice rag! If you r on the fence rather to pull trigger or not on it then hands down I would so absolutely! Cool gadget to have!

So, cool using this unit. It just works and it is so easy to use. Of course, as long as you have a smart phone. It has a lot of things you use it for, but I admit I have used it so far mainly for top speed tests. I plan to try other features in the future but for now that is it. So easy to setup and use. If you're thinking of getting one, just do it.

This may be accurate, but it is a pain to attach to the chassis or shell of an RC, or to an open spot on a drone. I love the app, RCGears, I just wish this came with a few strips of Velcro. As it stands, the battery life is great and can sit in standby for over a week, easily. It's a tough little unit, but very light weight. The speedometer functions, which there are 3, are for Drag racing, track stats or for RC planes, helicopters, quad copters, drones, etc. I used my DeeRC 14210 to test it, since it can reach speeds over 50 miles per hour. The small size makes it easy to find a place to attach this unit, you just have to figure out how you will do that. Adhesive pads or velcro or???

Had zero experience using one of these devices but found it to be extremely easy to set up. I attached it to my 4x4 Grom using Velcro and it held up great, probably because it is very light and hard to shake loose even during rolls. Using ‘Track’ I was able to quickly get the answer to my question about the differences in battery performances as well as a definitive answer on what top speed the Grom could achieve. Pro: easy to use, meets my needs Con: Price Wish it had on/off power switch

The GNSS is absolutely fantastic my last one took a beating from multiple rc cars and finally when I crashed it went with it. I didn’t hesitate on buying another one best one the market 👍👍

Absolutely love this little GPS, works well with the app, if I had a grumble it would be the battery doesn’t last that long so I ensure I either charge before I go to the lake or have a way of charging I.e. power bank or USB -Type C it’s really not difficult
