Not the softest but nice
It’s a little big so if you have small newborns (6lbs) it’s gonna be to big for them. My baby was swimming in it and was to big. But he cal still wear it later so not a big deal.

Much bigger than expected
Cute but a lot bigger than expected I ordered a newborn expecting my son to wear it in the hospital after being born but he couldn't wear it until he was about 3 months old.He was 22 inches long and 9 pounds when born so it wasn't because he was small, these sizes just come larger

Super cute but waaaaay too big for a newborn. I still haven’t been able to put my 3 week old in it. It’s more like 3-6 months or 6 month size
