The hygrometer Measures: 1-3/4" Diameter in the front | and a bit smaller on the backside at 1-9/16" which includes the the Rubber Gasket **Q: Can i mount with magnet?** A: Probably if you apply a piece of magnetic tape to the back. But I would not recommend buying this item. It is made cheaply and the needle is easily moved just by slightly moving the entire hygrometer. Better to spend another $4 and get a digital one. Humidity reading was close enough so I didn't have to adjust it.5/12/25 : Bought a second one to set up a 2nd Tuppadore. Calibrated using a Boveda packet and all is well. Calibration involves disassembly and moving the mechanism to the proper reading. Google it to find how to disassemble. (note: there appears to be a little screw on the back for adjustements. IT'S NOT A SCREW.
