I used the whole bottle so it might be good for longer than 4 yrs. I never noticed any decrease in the performance, as it always produced pretty well. Some hydro suppliers recommend storing it in the refrigerator, but I never have. I don't use any cloning solution anymore. Go to modularhydro.com to find out why. The more of an angle the better. Use an eyedropper and put some Clonex down your hole in case you rub some off inserting the cutting. Keep moist and use fertilizer cut to about 1/4 strength and mist the cutting 2 times a day. Make at least 3 times the cuttings you wish to keep just in case something goes wrong.
