It works great with a roll of duct tape and some extra staples.
While there are a few issues with this product, for the most part it worked fine. We bought it to close off a section of the yard while we were doing some work. It kept the dogs (small ones) secure in a separate part of the yard. I had read the reviews so I was ready to fix whatever was wrong when we were setting it up. We didn't have many problems with the stakes but we did have to use a staple gun to re-secure some of the plastic. The plastic does tear away from the staples fairly easily. We decided to reinforce it with a little duct tape. I think you should have a roll handy when you use this fencing and you'll be fine becasue you really can't beat the price. We had it up for a little over two weeks and had some rain and wind over that time. It still held up fine.

Perfect for keeping dogs out of newly seeded area. Not sure about silt...
Worked perfectly for my application. I wanted to keep my dogs out of a newly seeded area and this was the least expensive option for me. 100 feet of 2' tall fence which included the steaks to install it was perfect. I'm not sure how it will hold slit, but it keeps my dogs out and was much less expensive than other alternatives. The black plastic does not look like it is attached to the stakes very well. It looks like two staples are used in each steak. So far it has not bee a problem, but if it does come off, I'll just staple it back on. It's what I expected for the price. It is in my back yard, so I see ti all the time also.So far, I'd order this product again.

Virtually Problem-Free
This temporary fencing was purchased to aid in leaf collection prior to the Fall cleanup. The installation of the fencing was virtually problem-free. Other reviewers have complained about the wooden stakes. The stakes on my set were perfect. They were straight and strong and easily survived multiple hammer blows when being driven into the ground. The plastic fencing was adequately secured by staples to the stakes. During installation, only one staple pulled loose and that was due to my entirely to my handling. That being said, it is good advice to keep a staple gun handy when installing. One or two staples might pull loose and/or you might wish to re-enforce certain areas. Very satisfied with this purchase which is already doing its job.

Careful with stakes
I thought I was getting 2 rolls of 100 ft not one but maybe my misunderstanding… still a bit misleading— it says 2x100 2 ft by 100 ft so I thought I was getting 2 rolls. I didn’t have staple problems but several of the stakes broke and split when I pounded them in my sandy soil. They had knots in the top of the wood. I will need to have the fence up all winter during a construction project to project my garden so we will see how it works.

Really poor quality
Half the stakes were split on top when they showed up so when you try to drive them in, they fall apart. Had to find new stakes, move the fabric closer to bottom end and restaple. They should be paying me for the hassle of fixing their junk. Do they think I'm taking this to the beach and sticking it in the sand? The clay around here is like cement.

Good silt fences
Good silt fences. The mystery to me is how these folks can charge less for these silt fences with woven plastic tarp material and sturdy well sharpened stakes than I would pay locally for just the stakes, even if I could find stakes of the same quality. Put in a number of them and so far (December) they are holding up well.

Good strong material and was happy to be able to ...
Worked well for controlling erosion on a bank in front of my house until I was able to complete some landscaping. Good strong material and was happy to be able to get the 2 ft tall instead of 3 ft for the application I needed. Was concerned about the quality of the wooden stakes often cited in some reviews, but I was happy with what I received. Just make sure you have a staple gun to better secure the fabric to the stakes once you drive them into the ground. I was happy with my purchase and would buy again.
