So happy they are still making Maypo hot cereal that I grew up in back in the 50’s and 60’s. When the stores no longer stock Maypo, it’s great we can order online. I like to have hot cereal on a cold morning and don’t like regular oatmeal or cream of wheat. Maypo has a great maple flavor with smaller oats than regular oatmeal. If you haven’t tried it, doso. You won’t be disappointed.

I love this oatmeal!! I grew up eating this when I was a kid!! I bought this and split it with my parents. They love it also!

I bought them last year, but expiration date is almost done, but inside new boxes I find a LOT of very tiny bugs inside. I assume they must have been packaged with eggs inside them. I love the steel cut oats with maple flavors, I always buy a bunch and use them maybe once, a week or 2. So I bought 12 boxes and around 7 boxes were left. I opened a box last week, ate it twice. The third time I tried to eat I saw this bug in there, I skimmed the top with the spoon, and sure enough there were a bunch more. Then I opened most of the rest and they all had bugs in unopened boxes. I feel cheated now, someone at their factory screwed up on the batch I got. Hopefully the company takes care of this issue, great product, but it was gross to have happen to me, UNFORTUNATELY, I looked forward to eating it, but all was thrown away, except 1 non-opened box currently.
