Good enough for work.
I ordered an XL and it seems to run a bit bigger than expected. But it looks good and my job definitely liked the sweater. Received a nice compliment from management at work so it’s a great addition to my uniform. I’ll update in a few weeks if things change.

Hit or miss
Who knows what you'll get? I'm 6'2", 180 lbs, with longish arms. I'm usually a Large Tall. I ordered one sweater in Large Tall. That's the olive green one in the pics. It fit pretty well. A little baggy, but not bad. I went back to order another one in a different color, and thought I'd try the Medium Tall. It's hard to find Medium Talls, so I wasn't sure if it would be like the Large Tall but just not as baggy.Turns out the Medium Tall is somehow WAAAAY bigger than the Large Tall. The Medium Tall is the gray one in the pics. Longer sleeves, larger neck hole, longer length, wider. It was comically large. Plus it had a lot of loose threads and a hole in the sleeve at the cuff.I have no idea what's going on with the quality control, but Amazon should be embarrassed by this. I've always found the Amazon Basics and Goodthreads clothes to be a bit of a crapshoot, but this was ridiculous. I'd give the Olive Green Large Tall four or five stars, and the Gray Medium Tall zero stars. Good luck!

Sizing shorter than expected
Sleeves according to the size chart should have been plenty long but when it arrived were at least 3" shorter than specified. The body was also too short hitting at top of hip. Had to return for a tall which fit like a standard size. If you're 6' and over it's probably best to just start with a tall. The sweater has a looser knit than a military version and relaxes with wear so don't expect it to block a breeze but it's quite comfortable.

You will need sewing skills.
From the second time of wearing this pullover it became obvious that it was poorly manufactured.The stitching on the sleeve started to unravel, quickly followed by the stitching on the other sleeve and soon after the stitching down the sides.I thought of just returning it and claiming my money back but I realised it would be easier to sew it back together and that is what I did.Poorly manufactured but it will do for working in.

shoulder patches
I really like the colour, I normally buy a small l when I buy a goodthreads article this is a small but it is bigger than usual not too much though, the only real problem is that the patches on the shoulders are uneven, one is about an inch higher than the other.

Loved it!
It’s a loose fitting which I like most. I bought it size L and it’s great on top of a pair of jeans. Loved it from day one!
