Worked Well for Us
My 14 yo daughter bought these glasses for a 'Meg Griffin' costume. They were a little small on her face but the arms reached to behind her ears, so that was good. The lenses and frame were round and thick and made for a good 'Meg' costume. THOUGHTS The main thing to know appearance-wise is that the frame is thick plastic. This should make them pretty stable. They were a little small on her face and mine, but the arms were long enough to reach behind our ears. We purchased another pair of glasses in case these wouldn't work. These alternative glasses -- Harry Potter Eyeglasses Costume Accessory -- actually weren't as nice. They did have a Harry Potter look, but they were designed so they wouldn't stay in place. These glasses definitely worked for a Meg Griffin costume. And for other costumes you should know that they are sturdy and well enough made for a costume.

These glasses were the perfect finishing touch for a costume I made for my boyfriend who is a big movie fan and wanted to have a Spaceballs themed birthday party since it was also the 30 yr anniversary of the movie. Being the amazing girlfriend I am, I went all out on making him a dark helmet costume among many things (including, but not limited to, relabeling cans of Perri Air and "Shaving Cream", curating an awesome 80s/90s playlist, and making handheld Pizza the Huts). We managed to find files someone shared online for 3D printing some of the costume, and came across some other perfect finds that finished things out. With a little masking tape around the middle, these glasses could be repurposed wonderfully for a Harry Potter costume. Good, cheap find!
