Works every time
I was given a Garmin watch. I was not given the charger, so I bought this one. I have charged the Garmin SQ many times with this charger, and it worked great every time. I have not used the right angle adaptor yet, so I don't have any opinion on it. But given that the straight tip works great, I expect the right angle adaptor to work just as well.

adds USB-C charging option, but you must provide the USB-C cable
allows compatible garmin watch to be charged from either USB-A or USB-C. USB-C is a small adaptor, so you need to provide your own USB-C cable. The provided cable is for charging the watch via USB-A connection only, like the charging cable that came with the watch.

The adapter broke after 4 months of gentle usage

Better than Needing a Dedicated Cable
Since most of my rechargeable devices now use USB-C this adapter means I now longer need to carry a separate, specialized Garmin charging cable to recharge my Fenix when I am on the go. It attaches to my Fenix with a nice click and I have had no issue with the charging speed. I ended up getting a few more for others in my family.

I have a vivoactive 3 music and it works great . I have one in my car ,travel bag , home and office . You can never have to many charging/data cables .

Works well
I have had Garmin devices for a long time now and these chargers just do not last long before the contacts require too much work cleaning to be worth it. A new cable or adapter always seems to do the job for awhile. The OEM stuff does not work any better, so I just keep getting new cheaper ones.

Genius setup
Whoever decided to have a direct connect for garmin watches didn't care about their job. This cable option got it right with the "L" Connector. Charges fine, feels like quality. Not much else to say here.
