Bad Teacher's Equation Volume 1 (Yaoi) (BAD TEACHERS EQUATION GN) Paperback – June 28, 2011

I can't believe I have this manga in my hands!!! I'd give this title a million stars if I could!!!I still remember when i read the 10 volumes almost 7 years ago. It's been my #1 favorite yaoi manga since then and I have read a lot of yaoi from 1994 until now.I received my package today and I was surprised to see a very thick book. I didn't know it was an Omnibus edition with volumes 1&2...I got confused at first because at the end of the manga says "end of Volume 9" but it's really chapter 9 as someone below corrected^^ I'm glad, the more the merrier <3This one never fails to make me smile ^__^ very warming, lighthearted manga packed with amazing, unique characters...yes! the characters is what make this story a classic! and i don't have a favorite character, they are all my favorites!!! i was having a very stressful day but I felt so much better as soon as I started to read this manga, it lightened up my mood immediately by its comedy and interesting characters!*SOME SPOILERS AHEAD*We have the cute innocent main character, Atsushi. He didn't really like his teacher Masayoshi(Ma-chan's younger brother) at first because he came to that school searching for his first crush (Ma-chan) but found another teacher(Masayoshi) with the same last name but very different personality and looks and was scared of him while Masayoshi enjoyed teasing him but soon the roles changed and Masayoshi's "nightmare" begins as the cute innocent kid never fails to tell him how much he loves him every second he sees him. It's really funny how we see this kid pursuing his love throughout the story since Masayoshi is straight(for now XD). It's not only comedy, the characters are mature (the 3 teachers)but also loved by their students while the kids(students) are enjoying life and maturing with the time.Then we have the sweet Ma-chan he's like a "mother" for everyone and his love interest: Toru, the huggable "bear" and Masayoshi's co-worker in school. Atsushi's stalker...er I mean, best friend: Inagaki, he's rude with everyone but when it comes to Atsushi, he is a complete sweetheart. The female character is not just a side character, she takes an important role later on and I love her! she loves yaoi too and encourages the guys and her "boyfriend" (Inagaki) to be with other guys, in this case she supports AnagakixAtsushi even though Atsushi doesn't like him that way because he's head over heels for Masayoshi and Masayoshi doesn't like Atsushi that way either XDDD(he's a kid and his student after all) it sounds all complicated with unrequited loves but really, they all learn to love as a family and some find love in other people, people they never thought about before!I know how it ends and I'm really happy with it. A few surprises in the end and I know you all will love it.I also recommend all the works from Kazuma Kodaka, such as Kizuna (another awesome yaoi classic) and Border. She's a great yaoi mangaka!Finally, I want to thank the publishing company who licensed this great manga, they made my dream come true! *goes to re-read the manga*

Kazuma Kodaka does it again! Bad Teacher's Equation is going to my RARE yaoi collection!!Apart from being a good thick size manga the story is hilarious with numerous of memorable characters that'll keep you wanting more amd more each time you read it! I totally recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading this mangaka's work! I can't wait for the next volume! :D

A lot of Yaoi manga out there has a tendency to turn into porn with a small plot. This is different. It's basically a Japanese romantic comedy. Hilarious is the word that comes to mind.
