We recently moved our apartment around and needed to rip off this protector from our kitchenette setup off the floor. Left no residue! It was way to cut to size and move around as needed. Easy install and worked great to keep my cords in place.Like I said we moved things around, I needed less of the cover and was able to cut and reapply to the new location. I do not know if it will be durable enough for a third move and reinstall, but for the twice I did it, no issues. Sticks to the floor perfectly well on the second location.Our robovac goes right over it for cleaning. We had it in place for 2 years before moving it and now it’s been in new place for about 6 months. No lifting, so I would say durability is pretty great.

Soft rubber that lays flat out of the box.

It's a good product but lacks instructions. Specifically, if you don't know better, you may pull the adhesive layer off the bottom of the rubber cord track as I did the first time I purchased this. I doubted it would work then and I re-bought it.

Very flexible. Arrives coiled up in package and rolls out smooth with no lumps. Cords are easily secured inside the cover. My roomba goes across the cover with zero issues. I didn't have to cut mine but it would be easy to cut to fit with a pair of sturdy scissors. Does exactly what i need to hide extension cords for a christmas tree that is out in the open in a rotunda.

I use a iPad for Facetime with family and friends. The iPad is mounted on a gooseneck stand in the center of the room next to my recliner and there is no power plug available there so I had to devise a method to route power to it using a long extension cord feeding a USB power cube. I obtained this cord protector to allow the extension cord to safely pass between my computer desk and my recliner location. The flooring is hardwood laminate, and I was concerned at first about the effects of the adhesion on the flooring as I live in a rented apartment and did not want to damage the floor. Testing the adhesion found that the protector could be easily removed from the floor with no ill effects but stays put securely while in use. The channel for the cable(s) is large enough to run a regular size extension cord and a USB charging cable inside with no bulging, etc. The black color blends well with the dark wood pattern on the flooring.All in all, I am well satisfied with this product and recommend it.

We had to add a second router and a booster to our network to run the dialysis machine my husband uses which resulted in a 60+ foot cable running from the machine to the cable modem. Unfortunately the cable runs from one end of the house to the other end with a few heavy trafficked areas in between so we bought this to cover the cable to protect not only the cable but the chance of somebody tripping and falling because of the cabling. We ended up buying 2 packages of this item because we needed to cover 3 different spots of traffic and the first package wasn't enough. Adhesive sticks wonderfully to the tiled area and where it has to adhere to the carpeted areas, the first install is still stuck to the carpet with no problems. (I'll come back and let you know if that changes as the months pass by). While the color of the cord protector doesn't match the carpet, at least it complements the color and doesn't really look that out of place. The product satisfied the need we had.

I got this to cover a bunch of cables and cords near my computer. This protector is larger than many (width wise) and I needed to cover 2 large power cords in addition to 3 other smaller cables. This protector was large enough to accommodate all my cables. However, the protector is being used on a wood floor, so I did not want to use the adhesive to glue it to my floor. Unfortunately, after a few months, I realize the backing that covered the adhesive had shifted, and the protector glued itself to my floor in a few spots. It was a bit of a job cleaning up the mess. Fortunately, it came up off the floor reasonably easily and I was also able to remove all of the remaining adhesive from the protector so this problem would not repeat itself. So, while the protector is doing it’s job protecting my cords, I wish there was a version of this without the adhesive, which I had to remove myself. If you’re not planning on using the adhesive on this product, I cannot recommend this product as you may end up getting the adhesive on things as I did.

I have 2 HDMI cables and 1 USB extension running from behind a 72" wall-mounted monitor, and across the floor to access points in our conference table. I've tried a fabric cord cover with Velcro backing (fabric could not keep the cords in place) and a traditional plastic cord cover (the channels held the cords securely but the cover would not lay flat, creating a bigger trip-hazard than the cords!). I found the X-Protector on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I was concerned when it arrived coiled in its plastic container, but - as promised - it lays flat immediately once in position. Best of all, the self-adhesive backing keeps the cord cover firmly in place - even on carpet. It even comes in multiple colors for a reasonable match to existing flooring. X-Protector's cord cover has eliminated the eyesore and trip hazard in our conference room, while protecting the connections needed for our team to work with maximum efficiently during meetings. 100% satisfied.
