Goetia of Shadows: Illustrated Luciferian Grimoire

Master Michael Ford is very informative and illustrated on the subject from a Luciferian perspective, on how to approach this book and hands down this is better than his first version that was included in Luciferian Witchcraft Book (one of my favorites), however again, it's from the Luciferian perspective, meaning, you approach these spirits to change what limits you from attaining the things that you want instead of getting what you want despite those preventive flaws of the psyche. What I'm saying, is that for the latter, this might not be for you but still, when one wants to improve themselves and seek such approach, I recommend it. But I would have another version at hand for other uses OR use another system the Goetia system is about self improvement and ascension.

This has to be ONE of my Favorite Goetia Books.I like most of Fords views and such, but one thing I didnt care for was that he didnt tell you what type of candle or what incense you need for each Demon. He goes with the idea that its more of a unlocking of the brain kind of deal, which I agree to some extent, but I personally go for the traditional ritual with incense and what not.Its a great book. Its just if you are traditional, you will have to do some research on your own to know what you need for each Demon. I personnaly dont do much of his ritual work. I mainly just like his great Historical knowledge. He is great at that.

Very easy to read,Informative version of the Goetia. Michael Ford's version is very detailed and descriptive.Anyone interested in goetic magic should be able to pick this up and began working right away.Michael's passion for luciferianism shines through in everything he writes and can help even the most lost soul on their path toward the black flame.I really enjoy the pictures that they used for the "demons" and their sigils. I own several Goetia books ,But this and D.G. are by far my favorites next to the classic.

If you don't have this book but follow a left hand path or the worship of demons then i think you will find this book very good and very useful triple A+++ i don't think you will be disappointed with this book.

This book is very well written and gives a good overview. It does give you some example of working with the Goetic Spirits but not plain as day as in here are each step you should take. Leaves a lot up for interpretation. Good book though.

I Love This Book ! Michael W. Ford is a Talented Author ! I just recently started practicing with my Husband Michael and we Love his Work. I look forward to reading many many more of his books.It's easy to read, some of the words is a little hard to pronounce but I have a website that can help me pronounce the words a little better so that's not much of a problem for me.I like how he list all 72 Daemon Spirits that you can work with of your choosing.He has two different Black Hilt Athame Evocation Rituals to consecrate your athame, he explains the triangle of evocation, the pentagram of tetragrammation, The Wand, the circle, the black mirror, sexual evocations. Invocation of the the Kings Ritual.It's a wonderful book to have, it's like a Grimoire.

Badly written, lots of language, grammar, and spelling errors. Overly grandiose and confrontational. Trying way too hard to be edgy. If you're going to buy a goetia for demonolatry, stink to Connolly.

hats off to mister ford I now intend to read every book he has written the man is a great teacher and author

This book contains a brief history of Luciferianism, some Luciferian Rituals and the Names, Sigils and Information about the 72 spirits of the Goeita. This book also includes some black and write drawings of the 72 Spirits. Its an interesting book. Would recommend.

Interesting book to add to my collection of occult, philosophy and related topics.

This was a really easy book to just pick and read with simple examples of how to work with the Goetia from a basic stand point. Id definitely recommend it to anyone with an interest in learning the basics about the Goetia.

If you're wanting to actually work with these spirits/demons on a serious level then this is the version to get. Empowering Forward by artist Adam Iniquity and beautifully illustrated by him. Michael W.Ford brings this classic grimoire into the modern age presenting a more practical and sensible approach of invoking/evoking the 72 spirits/demons of this system removing all the religious and Christianized mindset and dogma. Goetia of Shadows is a must have for any modern occultist,especially those magi who have worked with the classic sources and wish to enhance and update their rituals.This grimoire will bring you to a deeper understanding of this system and the spirits held within it.
