Fun Toy
Traded one of these flopping fish for a haircut. (My hairdresser wanted it for a relative's new kitten.) It's a fun toy. Easy to charge. Bit of a gamble due to cats either loving or hating it. I've yet to meet a cat that didn't have a strong opinion one way or the other. My hairdresser's relative's cat loves it. My own cat hates it. (I turned off the flop feature, so now it's just a motionless fish toy that sometimes gets played with.)

Exceeded Expectations
I kept seeing ads for this or similar product on FB. Figured it was just one of those gimmicky cat toys that I'd buy, and the cat would lose interest and enjoy the packaging more. Surprisingly, cat enjoyed this toy and actively would seek it out. The thing is, I have hard wood flooring in a high rise building. The thumping of the tail drives my downstairs neigbhors nuts; they are nice about it though. Of course ignoring their occasional barking dogs helps. Our playtime with the fish has emerged into special play times. I have the cat play with this toy on a bed or the sofa. Keep the toy tucked away and every days or so, bring the toy out. This has kept the uniqueness of the toy fresh. But, it sure reduces the noise in the middle of the night of the fish tail banging on the hardwood floors. Bottom line, this is a fun, interactive toy. The rechargable USB battery is a huge plus. It does hold a charge for a good while. For those of you living in a multi story building, please be aware of the noise it does make for your neighbors below.

So cute..but loud and scary to my cat
My cat was all over this toy while it was charging because of the catnip smell, but the second I turned it on he was not having it. He's had zero interest in being near while it flops and is definitely scared of it. He loves it while its off though..overall it wasn't really worth it when I could just buy a regular catnip toy. Its super cute though, but the its much louder than I expected and the zipper hits the floor with every flop which is slightly annoying on hard floors. I'll probably end up just removing the mechanical parts. If your cat enjoys noisy fast moving things though, it could possibly be a great buy.UPDATE: One our other cats seems to like it! He's played with it a few times while its on.

Well made, works well, but cat isn’t that interested in it
Works as described. It’s well made. It takes 70 minutes to charge; the red light on one side stays on the entire time it charges (doesn’t turn green). You just have to time the charge yourself. There is a small motor sound when it’s working/flipping. This did not bother my cat, but I noticed that some reviews said it scared theirs. My orange ginger cat 🐈 was mildly intrigued by it and played with it for awhile. He especially liked the catnip. However, he lost interest in it fairly quickly. I keep it charged and on. He occasionally messes with it for a few minutes and then ignores it. I think the success of this toy just depends on the individual cat. 🐈🐈⬛ 😼

Good for my kitten who likes to swat things
My 5mo kitten loves to play with my leg because he likes that I fight back, so my sister got him this toy that will move as he chews it. At first, he was confused, but as cats do, he quickly started swatting it and chewing it. Since he's still small, he can hug this fish and still kick it with his legs. He likes the movements. The fish is kind of hard to get moving, but it seems that this is only a problem for me. My cat can get it kicking easily, which is good. It makes a small noise, but not a problem for me since I usually turn it on for him when I'm working during the day to keep him distracted and away from biting my leg.

BEST CAT TOY EVER!!!
Wallace cat has not stopped playing with his new floppy fish since Christmas. Charges fast and stays charged for days, even with full on play all day long. It is kinda creepy REAL looking lol. Perfect size for engaging his front and back feet, while he chews at the head. Catnip stuck in the belly makes him even crazier for the thing. Buy one.....and u can thank me later:-)

If you have cats, buy them one of these.
Ok, this thing is great and I’ve only had it a couple hours. I bought it because we have a foster kitten who is coming up on his first birthday and he doesn’t have any playmates because our cats are old and he’s getting destructive and bored. I saw an ad for this and immediately knew we needed it.I put it down and all of the cats in the house, plus our dog, surrounded it. It took a few minutes, but the kitten started smacking it. And then he was off. He likes to pick it up by the tail (which inevitably sets it off). It’s great. One of my older cats, who is 15, is pretty interested, and I have a feeling that our other older cat and the kitten’s feral momma will be taking turns when no one is watching.I’m glad it came charged so we didn’t have to wait to play with it. After a few hours of intermittent ply, Mr Fishy died, and had to be revived in a safe space where his lifeline could not be eaten. I love that it’s USB chargeable.I’ve had cats my whole life, and fostered hundreds. This toy is great and I wish it had come into my life sooner! If you have cats, buy one of these and give it a shot.I can’t speak yet to its durability or longevity but I appreciate that the fabric bit comes off so it can be washed or repaired.
