I had read that parakeets needed coal for digestion, they won’t even come near it. But the boxed coal came fast.

I do rescue and rehab, and there really is no more important items to have around for emergencies than activated carbon. It's appalling that people deliberately poison animals, but knowing to use this stuff, and to use it quickly, is a game changer. I wish they made a liquid form, but I understand that this is predominantly sold as a supplement.

My birds love to eat Hari Bird Charcoal, Coconut Derived Activated Charcoal. I will buy Hari Bird Charcoal again.

Was a little to fine texture for my liking but I mixed it with my ground oyster shell and hoping it makes it usable .
