50ml Dispenser Gun Kit,Impression Mixing Dispensing Gun Applied to 1: 1/1: 2 AB Plastic Tube

This copy of the official 3M applicator is functionally the same as the $60 genuine unit, however it is also flawed the same. Based on my unit, and every photo and item I was able to find on Amazon and the rest of Google, no plunger currently exists which will fit 3M Scotch-Weld DP2216 flexible epoxy. This and a couple other 3M epoxies are designed for a 2:3 mix ratio rather than the more traditional 1:1, 2:1, and 10:1 ratios, and the gap between the plungers for the other ratios means the plungers will not fit the 2:3 cartridges. This is the applicator which is listed as compatible with this epoxy, and I have read other answers from other sellers of the same product claiming it is compatible using the 2:1 plunger, but this is false.I attached a photo of how I modified mine to work by cutting the smaller plunger in half lengthwise to clear the side of the cartridge. You can see in the photo that the plungers are much too far apart. The modified plunger will work, but it's not as advertized. Buyer beware. If you need one of these for DP2216 or another 2:3 ratio adhesive, buy the cheapest one because they are all the same and you have to cut it up to make it work. As far as I can find this is the only solution which currently exists.

I wasn't aware of this type of dispenser until I bought the epoxy to repair my fiberglass deck fountain. I'm impressed with the way it works and am glad to have it for future projects.

This gun kit will be used to dispense any 50ml cartridges of expoxy or adhesive. Quality looks and feels decent.

My husband said it worked perfectly with his epoxy glue.

I dislike that we even have to buy a tool to squeeze out the two solutions.
