Expedition Digital Chrono Alarm Timer 33mm Fabric Strap Watch

Feels like a youth watch, so don't buy if you have large arms. Perfect for my old woman's arm though. I wanted a watch that would be able to be bashed about a bit but not too chunky. Apparently if you are a lady, you aren't meant to be accidentally whacking your watch on things. That's just for the men. Perfect ladies watch for ladies that do more than sit and do crossstitch. Can easily set the time and date unlike my old baby G that needed a few YouTube videos to figure it out. Lovely fabric strap that will shrink as I will undoubtedly do at some point. Can't wait to be a skinny old dear 🤣

The Casio F91 is known as a cheap watch but worth it. A simple alarm and stopwatch and worn by lots of people. The downside of this watch is the very small strap which barely fits my massive wrist.This Timex Expedition digital also has a small strap but it is a long one meaning that people like me get a watch that is going to stay on my wrist and not pop off if I catch it on something.This watch also boasts 24 hours stopwatch, 24 hour countdown timer, 3 alarms, hourly beep, dual time zone, large display (so at least you can see the numbers), 100m water resistance, indiglo backlight and a nightlight and the winner for me is that you can have your time format day month instead of month day like most watches do.Timex do some really nice affordable watches in their expedition range notably the green one which is their best seller.This digital should be in that category, because it’s comfortable to wear at work and for when you’re at home.It does feel very light and that strap may feel like it’s going to break, but for the moment it’s doing a good job.

I bought this wrist watch to keep time while outdoors, in the sea, up rock faces, on snowy mountains and just generally having fun.I was looking for a small, light item with a large, legible display and that is precisely what this watch does well. Small. Light. Legible. It feels solid and, indeed, mine has already survived five days on snowy alpine slopes, several train journeys and a fair amount of sweat. The face does not scratch too easily - mine hasn't picked up any - and the strap feels robust. I am sure it will handle climbing chalk and sunblock (in the summer) without issue.I would like to see a better system for securing the free end of the strap - it tends to flap about a bit and the little loop of fabric that is supposed to secure it is rather inadequate. I'd also like to see a proper back-light. The 'glow' system is not to my taste. Neither of these two criticisms are serious ones.

I wanted to get a brand I had heard of for piece of mind.Easy to use. My 10 year old loves it, and it looks good. Timex does good kids watches. I don't know why other brands don't offer much of a selection.I would recommend this.

Product is good but the dial size is very small, not even fit for a 13yrs teenage.

To be honest, I was very glad that I'd already bought my husband a larger Timex from our local jewellers. This really is a very small watch, more suitable for a 10 - 12 year old than an adult.

Easy to read, set up and adjust the strap. Instructions not required in order to set up which is a testament to it's simplicity. Excellent watch for my son starting high school (year 7) as he needs to be self reliant and get to his classes on time.

Updated at end. As schools ban smart watches and kids need good dumb watches in exams this is comfy and great. Can survive accidental wearing for hand washing and swims. Kids love Indiglo. Updated: cannot replace battery as two security screws used. Tried two national jewelers and a dedicated watch battery stall, none had the right triangular tool. This is not a child safety feature as claimed by Timex support. No child could open the standard screws as it needs tiny specialist screwdrivers and dexterity. This is making the product disposable or forcing you to use certain companies. Unacceptable.

J'ai commander cette montre pour l'anniversaire de mon gamin qui fait ses 10 ans . Facile à régler et à s'en servir . Même pas besoin de se servir de la notice ! Le bracelet en scratch est trés pratique . La qualité Timex dérriére ça aussi c'est important .

Ich nutze die Uhr aufgrund ihrer kompakten Abmaße, des Nylon-Armbands und der Wasserdichtigkeit bis 10 Bar gerne beim Sport und auch beim Schwimmen. Die Anzeige ist gut ablesbar, die Indiglo-Beleuchtung empfinde ich als angenehm und zweckmäßig. Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie lange die Batterie hält. Alle Funktionen sind leicht zu bedienen, auch wenn der Druckpunkt der Tasten manchmal etwas schwammig wirkt. Bisher hatte ich damit keine Probleme. Die Uhr ist wirklich sehr kompakt und leicht, das könnte den Tragekomfort und die Bedienbarkeit bei "ausgeprägten" Unterarmen/Handgelenken sowie bei "Bratpfannenhänden" eventuell erschweren.Um die Dichtigkeit zu erhalten sollte der Austausch der Batterie ggf. bei einem dafür qualifizierten Händler/Uhrenservice/Uhrmacher erfolgen, auch wenn das den Batterieaustausch verteuert. In meinen Augen lohnt sich diese Investition aber.Insgesamt bin ich mit dieser Timex Expedition sehr zufrieden. Zum Kaufzeitpunkt kostete die Uhr aufgrund einer starken Rabattierung nicht einmal 17 Euro, als Normalpreis sind 50-60 Euro angegeben gewesen. Ich habe mir daher gleich eine zweite Timex bestellt und sie mir an die Seite gelegt - falls die jetzige Uhr das Schwimmen vielleicht doch mal nicht überleben sollte.

I had an Expedition watch long ago and loved it, and for a watch that doesn't overwhelm the wrist, this is a fantastic Timex watch! I just find the expedition range so easy to use. And after reading all the reviews I went with this (after returning a Casio G-shock as it was sooo painful to set and incredibly difficult to operate!) - And I'm so pleased with this Timex Expedition!It's SUPERBLY comfortable, just the right size and so easy to read the time. The INDIGO light (for dark areas or dark time periods) is really brilliant (sorry forgot to take photo) and that button is right on top / on the lower front (versus the side) so that's super handy. And the blue light when you click INDIGO is really beautiful.I have a big wrist for a female bone structure so I think this would fit any gender, and not overwhelm the wrist, and it is true - you hardly notice you're wearing it - the fabric strap is THAT comfortable!Anyway, I find it an affordable, attractive, and super comfortable watch that has all I need! So I highly recommend.
