What a great deal for this count of ramekins. Use these daily and for everything in our kitchen and household. Great for food prep, portion sizes at mealtime, condiments and toppings for taco night, leftovers, holding screws and bits when assembling items, dipping sauce bowls and more. Uses are endless. I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews stating that they crack/break easily and arrive damaged but I am well pleased with the purchase. I am just extra careful when washing them and set them separately from the other dishes to wash/dry. A few have already slipped from my hand onto the kitchen counter and so far, no breaks or cracks. I would say these are durable and with common sense use would last a good while and a must have addition for any good cook's kitchen. Definitely recommend. Also, these were shipped wrapped very securely and snug.

I've read a number of reviews of this type of product complaining of broken dishes on arrival. This set was very well packaged. I did find one small chip of glass in the box when I'd removed all the bowls and packing, but as far as I can tell, it didn't come from my bowls but fell in at the factory.These are a bit larger than I imagined - my fault for not getting out the ruler to check - but that's not a bad thing. They work very well for my purpose and have so far survived several rounds through use, cleaning and being put up. They _feel_ fragile (small and delicate) but nothing has broken/chipped yet!UPDATE: I just accidentally dropped one of these in my running mixer. Between the bowl and my whisk attachment, the bowl was the winner. Not a chip. And I've asked for a new whisk attachment for my birthday.

The media could not be loaded.  The MAD RaTer....is very well pleased.Little bigger than I wanted as didn’t pay attention to the description that they were 4 in. diameter. When your tired of reading reviews before you settle on a purchase choice...ya’ just kinna be like “just send them already”.‘CLICK...PURCHASE’.Anyway...these are not fragile & are deep-welled bowls.Very clear, well-formed glass during its ‘firing’ process. Nice smooth ‘rim’. No rough glass edges to nic your wittle ‘skin fingers’ like you might find in cheap glass.No. This here is a great purchase and will serve me & you (if you so choose)—very well. For any purpose. I bought for baking & cooking use but I’m quite sure they’d serve multiple applications.VERY...Careful packing.So have your ‘prep cup crow-bar’ out (😳 did...did I hear you say you don’t have one of those...???)—look on AMZN and find one cuz it may take at least 20 minutes to wrestle em’ out tha’ box.It’s a 20 minute jokie joke. I ordered these to use for individual portions of lemon mousse for a ladies luncheon. The size is perfect. Not too large. Exactly what I wanted and the price can’t be beat. Unfortunately despite being very well packed two were broken which greatly surprised me because the packing, as well as the weight of the glass in the bowls, were both more than adequate. I guess it just shows you can do everything right and still things happen. How you handle things next is what makes the difference.A card was included that said to email them 24/7 if I had any problems and they would solve it. On a Saturday afternoon I emailed them and much to my surprise (delight) I had a response back immediately. A few emails back and forth to get details and they had solved my issue. All on a weekend.In a perfect world there would have been no issue with the bowls but I can honestly say I am totally impressed with how this situation was handled. It is refreshing to see a company that takes pride in what they do and stands behind it. I would absolutely order from them again.

These are nice bowls, a little bigger than I expected but I am very happy about that. One of the bowls was chipped, despite fantastic packaging, so my guess is that it was put in the box damaged. It seems like the only option is to return ALL of them. I couldn't find a way to contact the seller directly about the one bowl, so I'm just keeping them. Too much of a pain to go to the post office, etc.

These bowls arrived extremely well-packaged, with no breakage. To have so many prep bowls is such a luxury! I can use these for assembling all the ingredients I need or for sauce-making, or both at once. They are also ideal for small servings of fruit or ice cream, or those chocolate-covered cashews I know I shouldn't be eating but can portion in these small bowls. They are not quite as thick as Pyrex custard cups, but such a steal for so many glass bowls! If you have a busy kitchen and don't want to have to continually hand-wash bowls to use, this is the set for you.

I was very pleased with these bowls. I thought they were the smaller 4oz. bowls however they are larger. They are great for controlled dessert portions for example ice cream, rice pudding etc. They seem a bit too large for condiments like ketchup and mayonnaise but they are great for small fruit cups as well. They arrived on time, they are well priced for 15 bowls and they are packed beautifully. All in all a good purchase, do not hesitate to grab a batch.

Great value for money, even if 1 or 2 arrive broken (as many report and same for me). 14 of these is still plenty for most people unless you are a restaurant. Yes, would love to have all 16 arrive unbroken, but even if 1 or 2 are damaged, still good value for money, and a really nice option to stock up on small serving bowls or however you want to characterize these.
