How high is the top step from the ground?

The top step is 27 1/4 inches. Awesome ladder. Really pretty. I keep it out in my kitchen leaned nicely on a blank wall. I wanted a ladder that matched my kitchen and looked elegant. It's slightly heavy, but that gives it stability. Buy it. You won't regret it!
