Once I opened the Amazon box, it was in another box and then they have a case on their own if you want to store them. The container is a nice, zip to secure case. Inside the container there are the different size ear buds to change out too, as well as a clip you can use to clip onto your shirt while you are working out so the ear buds don't just fall out from the up and down motion. This has always been my dislike for these type of headphones. The chrome back which sticks out is nice, and makes it easy to place them in the ears or take them out. The flat black and red cable looks awesome. The controller on the wire is on the right ear side, which is a first for me. I like the volume control on it, as it slides up and down versus pressing a button for the volume to increase or decrease, and you never can tell when it is at full max until you keep pressing a button and then realizing the music is not going to get louder. These headphones get loud, like loud. I took them out for a spin on my motorcycle and was able to hear them over my pipes, which they are also loud. The plug part which goes into your music player is a 90 degree turn, so the cable doesn't stick out straight, which is nice, means I can't bend the plug or damage my phone from it going back and forth. These have not tangled up on me yet. I made a phone call while wearing them and had no issue hearing the person on the other end, and they could hear me perfectly fine. When I played music through them, though loud, it was clear and sharp. I have bought some expensive headphones and only got these as a deal with another set of headphones I purchased for my pc. So glad I did, these are awesome. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Turned out I didn't have to spend hundreds to hear good music *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2016* I'm profoundly deaf in one ear and seriously deaf in the other. This is encompassing 90 to 120 db loss. I used to wait till I was driving my old 960 Volvo with premium sound to listen to music( of course with powerful hearing aids) That was an exquisite treat to my poor deprived ears. After that car made its way to the boneyard I wasn't as fortunate with my next Volvo getting only the standard sound. It wasn't rich enough or full enough to make listening music worthwhile for me. Last year after going through practically every earbud under $35 on the rack at Walmart , I decided to invest in a higher quality headphone on Amazon. I researched carefully and was prepared to spend a few hundred dollars for more power. I did buy a set which had excellent reviews Original Xiaomi Piston Earphone Ii Headphone Headset Earbud for $22 but saw these for only $14 at the same time. I prefer these as they are louder and literally give me back my hearing with an amazing full range experience. Of course I've got them cranked to the max at all times. At first I was really impressed with the sound quality, but after a few uses, I started noticing that it would pause music by itself several times, and I would hear weird static noises when music is playing. It's very annoying. Also, the earpiece that rests against the cartilage was really big and uncomfortable for me, and my ears would end up being real sore after a while.
