Atlas of Anatomy

Beautiful illustrations, great detail
Great for medical students in anatomy and surgical residents. I used an online version through med school but wanted a hard copy to study from now that I’m a resident. Not expensive and worth the money!

Amazing and thorough resource
This is a very comprehensive textbook with great attention to detail about clinical anatomy. The authors have put a lot of time and resources into making this book clinically relevant and I believe it is the best atlas out there!

Beautiful Atlas
I am a retired Plastic surgeon, who always had a very special interest in Anatomy. In medical school I mostly used Grant's Anatomy, but also had the original Sobotta in 4 volumes, Hamilton Lockhart and Fyfe and Gray's anatomy. Since my retirement 10 years ago I purchased all the new Atlases: Gilroy, Netter, Grant 13th edition, Sobotta 15th edition in 3 volumes and Clemente .I found the colors too vivid in the 15th edition of Grant Atlas but it is a BEAUTIFUL Atlas. Gilroy is definitely one of my favorite with wonderful illustrations. My only criticism is that the V and VII nerve are not as well done as Grant. My three favorite are : Gilroy, Grant and Netter and you cannot go wrong with any of those 3. Having all 4 Atlases and tired of going from one to the others I made Gilroy my favorite by copying the V and VII cranial nerves from Grant and the diagrams of the vascular, nervous and lymphatic systems at the beginning of Netter and adding them to Gilroy, making it the VERY best.

Excellent work
The greatest human anatomy atlas ever created. An absolute marvel of human achievement. If the Library of Alexandria still stood, this would be their anatomical reference. Can you tell I like this book, just a little? Seriously, if you are studying human anatomy at the postgraduate/MD level you simply must have a copy of this book close by. Just, superb.

Good images with nice tables for reference
It’s Nice that it has descriptions for some of the structures. If you don’t need descriptions then the Netters book is a good alternative

Extremely helpful for an Anatomy class
I chose to rent this book. Book was new and never used before which was great. It’s a great reference book and helped me tremendously. Also this book was not required for my class, it was suggested by a friend.

Bought the book new but came used
I absolutely love the book itself, but I bought this book new and it came used. It had a small stain in it and the book was all bent even though it came in plastic wrapping.

Arrived earlier then expected!
This is the book to get if you want a refresher on Anatomy. This book is the bible practically for medical illustrators, and has been recommended up and down by the community of medical illustrators. The description is exactly as described, and arrived much earlier than expected. Very happy with the purchase.
