Great product and it just works
Phone works as intended, good build quality despite its lightweight form. Very easy to use.I purchased this phone for myself 32 year old male, to use my smartphone less. And it's been brilliant. It works with giffgaff network on 2GSends texts and calls very well. Great audio quality and loud. Actually better audio than my smart phone. Can hear people much clearer on the phone not to mention the signal is superior to my smart phone.Has a few ringtones, can set your own too if you bluetooth them to your phone.Battery life is great after 2 - 3 days now it's still almost full and hasn't run out or died yet.Texting is easy doesn't have auto correct or predictive text.Phone has no WiFi (not even sure why you'd want it on a device like this though) but does infact have Bluetooth. It works for sending and receiving files such as mp3 or jpeg images. You can not install apps like WhatsApp. But it's £17 you have to remember it's £17! Or was when I ordered it atleast !The camera is diabolical but it's there if you wish to use it. I actually had a great time trying to take pictures of me and my partner, we laughed our heads of at the images of our necks instead of our faces lol ! But that's that.Radio works nicely and doesn't require the headphones to workThe SOS button works brilliantly so would be great for an elderly user or medically dependent person.Flash light is functional and works easily.I love the lock switch on the side of the device very simple and works flawlessly.Solid 8 out of 10 for meBad pointsThis model c1 2g does not have vibrate mode ( it does have silent ) but phone will not vibrate. Bit disappointed with that but hey ho £17 remember.Bluetooth will not connect to my carFor hands free calls but I suppose that's because my cars Bluetooth is probably much more up to date than the Bluetooth on the phonePhone has absolutely no Internet capability at allBut it does have a 3.5mm audio jack so you can put music on an sd card and listen to it whilst out and about or taking callsUSB C charging is a bonus too

Perfect for the elderly, got this for my dad who is in hospital and the set up was easy, he can now see what he is pressing etc

Better than some more expensive units
4g variant. Entering contacts is a bit slow. Capitalising initial letters is tedious but works. Two entry methods, Nokia-like where you press buttons rapidly to select character and bespoke where you move cursor over selection.Unlike some senior phones you can actually turn off the power up and down melody that is most annoying. Quite small with a good charging dock that uses pogo contacts. Charging connector is USB C shape but uses USB 2 (5V only) protocol, will not charge if connected to a full-spec multi-voltage USB C charger. You can charge in the dock or directly on the phone.Supports hands free mode, press right multi-function button during a call. Handbook, lacks much info but at least makes the process of installing SIM card clear. During charging the external phone and message lights become charging and charged. FM radio does NOT require headphones to be connected.Overall a useful emergency, senior or child phone. Reasonably robust. Replaceable battery, 1 SIM slot , 1 micro SD slot.Update: The SOS Function first give a two tone warning and the right multi-function button allows the procedure to be cancelled if SOS button pressed by mistake. (Some phones have no way to cancel apart from removing battery.)Strongly advise that for elderly people, the charging cable is connected to the docking station permanently so the phone can just be dropped in to charge; gravity holds the charging pins in contact with phone - charging could not be easier and no contact wear. Phone can be operational or powered down whilst being charged.

Cheap tatty rubbish
Review is for c1 ,,1800 mah battery really, more like 800 in my view, 1 hours call and its half flat already ,false and very misleading advertising in my view, yes it's cheap and it should be,plastic is tatty and skimpy, and feels more like a child's toy than a phone, this sort of carry on is totally unacceptable i mean when you buy something you expect it to be what is advertised, not a piece of rubbish like this, not recommended and wouldn't dream of purchasing again, disgraceful.

A very easy phone to use once set up.
Easy to read without my glasses SOS button on the back that calls number one on your call list if no answer.then number 2 and so on. I am 76 years old and had a few falls best time for me to buy one of these highly Recommend.

Functional but fiddly and cheap
This phone doesn’t win any prizes for its looks - it’s functional but has so many fiddly annoying faults it’s hard to overlook the fact it is essentially cheap. Very poor instructions and diagrams - basic things like how to get the back off and fit the battery and SIM card are virtually non-existent. Yes it’s meant as a simple functional phone for “seniors”, but god help anybody trying to set it up who a) doesn’t have superb manual dexterity and b) doesn’t have a working knowledge of mobiles from 20 years ago. It’s awkward, it’s clunky and it’s very limited in all its functions. Yes it has big buttons and a simple speed dial system and a loud ring and an SOS button (on the back where you could inadvertently press it at any time), but if you’re looking for something that can be used for anything other than emergency purposes, this isn’t it. Call quality is ok, but while testing it before handing it over to an elderly aunt, I thought I would break it every time I picked it up. Plastics quality is shockingly poor, but at the end of the day it does the basic things it was designed to do reasonably ok. Just remember to slide the lock button on all the time to stop those phantom calls etc!
